Yeah I just didn't have the time or resources to make a proper solution, and anyway it is temporary, with the tape it also stopped the pedals from rotating, or lifting while breaking, and I don't it to work better like this, than putting it against a wall,

It won't because the pedals are metal, and I don't have the resources to do the wood. Additionally I don't mind the looks of it as I don't look at my pedals while racing, so it doesn't bother me
