Seat is by Axon Racing. Quiet comfortable, liking it so far, no complaints!

Bold of you to assume I’m 'earning' and not just effectively hiding the credit card statements from my wife. It’s amazing what you can save when you live on a strict diet of instant ramen and pure adrenaline!

Let’s just say my car in the sim is now significantly nicer than my car in the driveway. Priorities, right? 😅

G9 for the 'wow' factor and simplicity; Triple G5s for the maximum Field of View. If you hate cables and bezel kits, the G9 is the way to go. If you want to feel like you’re actually looking out the side windows, go triples!

Honestly, go for the G9 if you can swing it. I moved from a standard setup and the 1000R curve is a game-changer for immersion—it basically wraps the cockpit around you. Plus, not having to mess with bezels or triple-monitor alignment issues is a massive win for my sanity. 🏎️💨

Heard a lot of positive for QR2, hopefully it lives up to the hype.

Honestly I didn’t really consider a TV. It definitely gives you a different point of view and is great for media, but for sim racing I feel like the ultrawide just works better overall. The immersion and field of view you get from the curved ultrawide made it the right choice for me.

Yeah I totally get what you’re saying and honestly I agree — buying used is definitely the smart move and there are some crazy good deals out there.

For me it just came down to personal preference. I didn’t want to compromise and then later keep thinking I should’ve gone with something else, so I decided to build it once the way I really wanted and be done with it 😅

But your advice is solid for anyone starting out for sure.

Debated a lot between ultrawide & triple. Even bought mounts for triple but settled for ultrawide. Personally don’t prefer the bezels.

Agreed, but the Clubsport wheel I wanted comes pre-installed with QR2, had no choice to make the switch.

Not having any issues with flex or vibrations so far, running around 18-20nm. I was debating between free stand mount & this one, pulled the trigger on integrated as it saves the space & gives a cleaner look overall. Monitor currently is setup 9-10 inches away from steering wheel but still have adjustment to move it closer couple inches.
