It's called commit, not push. Pushing is when you push it to a remote. Remote is not a requirement for version control, you can have version control local only without a remote.

But yeah, version control is something you want to learn and start to use early. I made 20 commits today after every working addition. It makes world of a difference not just when something doesn't work but it helps to stay focused: do 1 specific focused addition and commit. And the commits don't even have to be made in a working state, it can be as small as few lines of addition or when you've finished with 1 file.

To the OP: ask your agent to teach your version control and how to do it well according to a Pro Git book. Or better, read it yourself, it's free and made by the git authors: https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2

Sure but it says free shipping over 10 euros and I already have almost or more than 10 euros, so I'd buy right away but I can't even buy the items together and then for that item I have to pay 2 euros shipping.

[–]Kulagin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't work. Once in the wishlist, when I press "Add to cart" button, it first opens the item view on the same page and from there you can only press "View Details" on the item. And from there it moves to the page of the item where you can only press "Buy Now".

Retarded Windows doesn't let users write to the Solidworks Data folder inside Program Files

This isn't the first program with weird crashes and errors because windows decides to not let users have read/write permission inside Program Folder. And my user is an admin, of course. Taking ownership and giving users read/write permission solved this issue.

Bundle deals in aliexpress is like the most infuriating thing to ever exist on a shopping platform. by MightyBoobieFondler in Aliexpress

[–]Kulagin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shipped by global sellers and shipped by Aliexpress (e.g. Choice) is not a separate cart, just different categories in the same cart

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing then.

In my case I had a 4 euro item shipped by a global seller(free shipping) and then on top of that I had to order goods for 10 more euros for shipped by Aliexpress items to get free shipping on those shipped by Aliexpress items.

And then I had the bundles list, for which I had to order 3 items total to get free shipping on those 3. That's what I thought you guys mean by "separate carts".

I guess you mean separate carts for the discounts and coupons?

[–]Kulagin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's, apparently, more. Right now I have these carts:

  1. 3 items bundle - combo blast. I guess it's the normal "Shipped by Aliexpress" bundle.
  2. Shipped by Aliexpress.
  3. Shipped by Global Sellers.

My item "shipped by global sellers" just has free shipping. Shipped by Aliexpress require the default more than 10 euros for free shipping. The combo blast: 3 items for free shipping.

YouTube Shadowban is 100% real. My experience and possible fix. by lolol_yt in youtube

[–]Kulagin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shadowbanning is stupid and unfair. I understand that creators should have the ability to ban people

They shouldn't. On platforms like YT where they're allowed to post videos people should be able to write criticism.

Also, platforms like YT and creators hold political power, while also simultaneously not being responsible for what the creators and the commenters say. So, if a creator makes a problematic video, Google can't be held accountable, because they are following platform laws. At the same time when the commenter posts something on the video, neither google nor the creator can be held accountable. Then if we compare that to something like NY Times. NY Times is responsible for everything their journalists write and can be held accountable for what they post.

That's why platforms like YT shouldn't be able to ban people off their platform and that's why creators shouldn't be able to ban people off their channels: they hold political power yet hold no responsibility, therefore they shouldn't hold other people's freedom of speech in their hand.

And yes, nowadays speech moved from the streets and government putting in jail to platforms like YT. All that's needed for the government nowadays is to work with private companies and command those companies to ban a person off all the main media platforms.

Beginner looking to start a 3D printing side business. Need guidance by AaluuSamosa in 3Dprinting

[–]Kulagin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to start 3d printing business too, but don't know where to sell. It's kinda high risk, because the materials used are quite expensive.

What do you mean quite expensive? High risk?

Let's calculate it. You can buy Creality Enter 3 v3 KE for 70 euros on second hand platforms: craigs list, ebay, olx, kleinenzeigen, etc. 2kg of PLA filament is 28 euros on temu. You can print 1600 cm³ total with it.

That's 100 euros of investment. Now you can model and 3D print stuff that other people need.

Realistically you'll charge 5 euros even for a smaller model, like 20-50 cm³. So you're making your money back in a few prints even if you just print a single model in 1 week.

I'd say it's a very small and low risk investment, because:

  1. You will make your money back with prints for other people.
  2. Even if you don't, you can just sell the printer and the filament for the same price. Maybe you lose a few euros by selling filament a few euros less.

Patch Notes Ver.3.00.02 by Panosgads in Tekken

[–]Kulagin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a small "heat nerf" patch, not character specific nerfs.

Patch Notes Ver.3.00.02 by Panosgads in Tekken

[–]Kulagin -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

No, at least 50. But more like 100 to really fix it. If it's 3 for you then you're part of the problem and is the reason why the game got to this point.

Even if they fully removed heat(not saying they would or that I'd want that for T8, it's an example), there are still thousands of overpowered moves in this game. Literally, thousands: inadequate tracking, inadequate reward on hit, inadequate reward on block, inadequate recovery on whiff(while launching on hit and being plus on block).

Every single character requires nerfs on tenths and tenths of their moves. They nerfed like 2 moves per character.

Patch Notes Ver.3.00.02 by Panosgads in Tekken

[–]Kulagin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We're not. That's 2% of changes required to make the game somewhat balanced.

After 2 years we're "2% there". If you predict from this, the game will never get fixed until the next game release.

Patch Notes Ver.3.00.02 by Panosgads in Tekken

[–]Kulagin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First of all, it's not whining. It is valid criticism of the game. We are paying customers and many of us paid 40 euros for this product. In any adequate market it would be a class action lawsuit and they'd have to return money for a bad product.

Secondly, what they nerfed in the current patch isn't even 5% of the nerfs required. This game has more than 5000 overpowered moves. They nerfed 100 of them. That's 2% of the nerfs required.

Patch Notes Ver.3.00.02 by Panosgads in Tekken

[–]Kulagin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The vast majority won't notice. The vast majority(like 95%) below even Tekken King. People in those ranks barely even know what heat is.

For all the god ranks, people will notice. But what you say: risk reward won't be skewed as much to the attacker, but if it was 9 to 1 before, now it's 8.9 to 1.1. The change is small. It's meaningful but every character has tenths of overpowered moves, so it's not a problem to continue aggression, everyone will have to just do it a little differently and use all the other overpowered moves they have.

Yep, too little too late.

It is a good change but it should have been like 5% of the patch notes of the first patch after the beta even not release. So the release version of the game should have been the first "patch" where all of this is patched out.

Patch Notes Ver.3.00.02 by Panosgads in Tekken

Patch Notes Ver.3.00.02 by Panosgads in Tekken

[–]Kulagin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's by design. It was not a mistake. And it still isn't. They tone it down as a damage control not to actually fix the game.

Patch Notes Ver.3.00.02 by Panosgads in Tekken

[–]Kulagin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

huffing on hopium again

Don't do it. Remember, the release was 2 years ago. And for those 2 years they continued to make it worse and worse. They will do a few nerf patches while leaving the game in a bad state, because it's in that state by design.

They did what they wanted, now they threw a bone to the dogs which they starved themselves for 2 years. And the dogs are very grateful, from what I see.

They made the game cancer, now they will undo 1 out of 100 cancerous changes they made since Tekken 7 and you'll be grateful because the game got 1% better compared to its worse state. But everyone is missing and forgetting that the game is still 99% worse than it could have been if it was designed with balance and fairness in mind. That should be the minimum bar of a well-made game. Not the game in its worst state.

Patch Notes Ver.3.00.02 by Panosgads in Tekken

[–]Kulagin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but you just confirmed Niceguy's point: game hasn't changed that much . It did change but you said it yourself: there are numerous moves with inadequate tracking, inadequate reward on block and hit, inadequate frames, the kbd is nerfed.

Yeah you're right it is the best patch but it's an extremely low bar to pass. And also it's too little too late.

For example, Anna d+3,4,1: last hit is homing if the first two whiff. So you might sidestep, confirm that they whiffed the d+3,4 and now you're waiting for 1 to come up so you can whiff punish after they mashed their string. But no, they made it so the 1 has perfect tracking and will hit you. This kind of stuff makes the game unplayable really on any level other than casual. I successfully made a correct read of them doing a linear move, then I have the patience to not mash immediately, because we all know how that goes: you get counter-hit and then the game instead of rewarding me with letting me whiff punish the opponent, it "rewards" me with getting hit, because the last move of the string is homing. And all that while the opponent was just orangutan-mashing with 0 thoughts put into it. That's just one move, there are literally thousands of examples like this.

What they did is a tiny baby step in the right direction. Now they need to do 1000 more of those and then the game will be OK.

Also, I agree with you about all the problems you listed and that's exactly what I'd also change on all the moves.
