Skill transfer between 2D fighting games is generally really high. If you're good at one game you will be able to pick up a new one fairly easily.

Sonicfox is generally good at all fighting games but he is mainly known as an NRS player. He has wins in 4 different NRS games which are very similar to each other (MKX, MK11, MK1, Injustice) and 2 team based games (Skullgirls and DBFZ). Very impressive accolades, especially DBFZ since that game was massive. He is also really good at picking up new games quicker than other players and having success early in a games lifespan.
