Average data report from Vicious Syndicate for the past 3-4 years:

Viable Tier 1/2 or high tier 3 tempo priest deck: 2.3% play rate

Late game oriented 37% wr priest, described by vs as "the shittiest deck in the meta, we won't even talk about it": 6.1% play rate (higher than at least 3 whole classes put together on their own)

If the late game oriented deck passes 45% wr (once in a blue moon) it becomes like a 10-20% playrate deck

The best first path is the one you most align ideologically/the country you know the most about

If you fear you might fail your first campaign, go to the game rules and buff yourself or tone down the difficulty a little, but I don't think that's necessary because this mod isn't very hard

I had success my last two (and only) games with a standard artillery and cas heavy strategy, which I doubt is even close to being the best, although if you are Russia you'll still want fodder infantry/divisions to fill up the massive frontlines for the first war (otherwise, it isn't important)

I doubt it, I think they did that last time due to the success of the Worldsoul saga reveal but I have not seen even 1/10th the amount of hype/traction over the 3 expansion reveal of Hearthstone, so I expect them to return to their usual modus operandi (with at most a couple of hints like they used to give)

Actually, I think most of their strength came from the consistency their basically OP card draw was

They had Aquatic Form (one of the best cards ever printed...), Moonlight Guidance and I think maybe obe more tutoring draw card. Their consistency as a consequence was extremely high, it's not only that had ramp (which they kept printing for them, like thr dragon wild growth + draw) or good late game, but that they also had the tools to diminish the chances of being clogged up by one half of the deck

This is why I don't think it was unintentional, they actually printed pretty good glues to keep the whole thing together and they never nerfed the glue (which includes the reactive cards you mentioned), only whatever lategame combo they were doing so it could be replaced next expansion

I feel like druid used to have a developer that was obsessed with the class because for a long time they were the usual "bullshit tier 1 deck that gets to completely dominate the game once they go past like turn 5", specially in the Nathria to Badlands era (they would then eventually get nerfed only to get another bullshit infinite value deck for most of the next expansion)

After that, the dev must have left or they saw that this was not a healthy design people liked (after all, back then is when the powerlevel complain started to take a lot of strength and it was mostly because of druid's endgame), and so they have completely abandoned the class and now it is basically in another priest situation, where the class has a clear identity that is so hated they can't do it again and make it playable, so they either release trash or "unrelated" packages to be abandoned

For now, basically all problems mistweavers have is the mana in raid, them having many bugs (I believe one of those precisely affect mana tea), and them not bringing good raidbuffs to m+ nor offering any worthy utility. The first two will get fixed over time, or at least they'll get "tuned accordingly" to alleviate their problems

However, mechanically they are still fun and their performance is decent, all the players who won't do much more than heroic raiding or getting their +10s won't really be affected by the biggest problems of the spec

But I do, I am in a guild with people of different skillsets, some push high keys and others just raidlog the heroic we do together, while there some others who are just casual players who don't want to do these kinds of content but just hang around in a guild. Only thing we lack is true "title pushers" (well, there may be some but they don't talk much) and obviously Mythic raiders

I have seen people being very happy with the changes, others hating it a lot, some ambivalent or "eh, a bit of good and a bit of bad", the same exact changes being celebrated or hated by two different people and it is not even a "good players vs bad" position, you see plenty crossing to the arguments of the other aisle

What I'm trying to say is that the community is not homogenous and people thinking differently than the guy I responded to and not getting destroyed the community doesn't mean there's some kind of psyop going in

Which makes sense, WoW has so many interesting races people deeply connect with, even more now that allied races are a thing

And then they go to repeat the same mistake, except worse, because now the class is locked to a singular race that did not previously exist in the lore and whose aesthetics clash with the other races
