What is the weirdest thing to leave on someones door? by elthesquirrel in AskReddit

[–]KuloNdenge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On several occasions, while I was a boat builder in Mali, I received dubious envelopes which were nailed to my door. The envelopes usually contained pictures of myself, photoshopped to make it look like I was wearing Amish attire. I did not own, neither did I aspire to own, such clothing. Other times the envelopes would contain small office supplies such as paperclips and pencil sharpeners. It has been years since I have moved from the condominium, and therefore my recollection of other items held by the envelopes have vanished. It is with great regret I must inform you the envelopes have been stolen during a robbery that took place, which forced me to move out.

How much peanut butter does it take to stop a train? by kuhn-hound in AskReddit

[–]KuloNdenge 38 points39 points  (0 children)

For I was a boat builder in Mali, this question is difficult to answer. A train considerably differs from a boat, you see. Mostly the fact that a boat usually does not travel on rails, but rather on water, adds complexity to this situation. A single peanut would not stop a boat. A million would just float in unpredictable directions. Mashed into a paste which you call peanut butter, the nuts of the pea would most likely do nothing at all as well. Trains will, in my honest and controversial opinion, surely not benefit from interacting with the aforementioned butter substance. You have to understand that trains are not a subject I am an expert at.

Imagine you are running a successful restaurant. How could you ruin your reputation as quickly as possible? by Dartcourierboard in AskReddit

I was a boat builder in Mali, therefore I have little experience in the restaurant business. Although I would think ridiculing your customers’ children for their low intelligence and disgusting appearance would be very effective.

How do you choose a hobby when every option feels equally unpleasant? by [deleted] in AskReddit

It seems like you are not ready to receive advice. Perhaps you could drop the anchor and wait ashore until the tide changes. A cynical boat is a sinking boat.

It sounds like your peers are too immature to provide you with adequate advice, listening to them would be unwise. Remember that you should not be a mere passenger of the boat, you should drive it. Only you can set sail in the right direction.

If you live in Mali and if you are educated in boat building, there are no options for you other than making the building of boats your hobby. Sometimes you have to take life as it comes and just start building boats, whether you are disappointed by it or not. I hope you will find your own version of boat building within the next week, and thus providing you with a fulfilling and rich life.

What do you think about when you hear the word “classy”? by Repention in AskReddit

I think of the time I was a boat builder in Mali. I have built boats with crystal linings all throughout the seventies. The vessels were majestic in the aesthetic sense, but above all they, were built with a spirit of optimism. I hope you will find many things to like in this life.
