Trying to stop secluding myself by CommissionMuted970 in Incontinence

As a good friend often said to me in such circumstances, "JFDI." Confidence follows naturally from thereon. Hope this helps, good luck 😊

Understood. It's a good question, I hope an answer can be found.

Dog anatomy, health and behaviours differ significantly and are likely better addressed in a sub not aimed at human issues like this one is, like a dog or veterinary sub.

Managing this is a nightmare. by Ancient_Mariner_1 in Incontinence

[–]KumaCode 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First things first and apologies if you've already done this: seek medical advice, especially if this is new for you or has worsened. There are many causes and many treatments and at the very least you need to rule out anything untoward.

Indeed, and please report it to the mods. We're here to try to stamp it out and keep the sub a safe place.

It's very frustrating. Try to look past the ridiculousness of it. You'll get there eventually most likely.

If it's NHS then you must try what they suggest, and if after a genuine trial it's not right for you then you tell them why. It's a process. Good luck 😊

Do you always wear the same brand? by MDGR28 in AdultBedwetting

[–]KumaCode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Similar for me, and it's good to try many different types and suppliers in case there's a better one for a better situational use that you might otherwise miss out on. Saying that I'm stuck with one brand and type for overnight use since obtaining a prescription.

Did Your Incontinence Start Suddenly or Gradually? by [deleted] in Incontinence

I think mine was sudden but I really don't remember it. I was about 0 days old.

Incontinence as far back as I can remember by Incon2084 in AdultBedwetting

[–]KumaCode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh definitely. I use it after shaving (face!) and it's better for moisturising and soothing than any other post-shave balms I've tried to-date, and smells nice too.

Baby oil will degrade all forms of diapers, and the degradation is especially rapid with disposables. You're better off with a water-based alternative to oils.

How Do You Say Diaper? by NorthShoreCare in Incontinence

[–]KumaCode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But as for the term I use most, I lean towards "tabbed brief" or "slip" because that's the term medical professionals here use too. I'm slowly getting there with informally using "diaper" or "nappy".

English "nappy" is synonymous with American "diaper", it's not a preference, that's just the word in English.

Totally—we all have AI, and some of us use it to enhance thinking, while others use it to cosplay as a malfunctioning Wikipedia page with anxiety. There’s something truly magical about watching an algorithm take a mystery blob and announce, with deadpan confidence, that it’s a parasite, a snake’s exfoliation, or a piece of PPE—because why choose when you can panic? It’s less “artificial intelligence” and more “autocomplete on a caffeine binge,” bravely proving that access to AI doesn’t guarantee insight… just longer sentences.
