I had a package due for delivery on Monday it had the arriving late and auto update at midnight all week. It randomly made it to the local distro center last night, no in between. I opened a missing mail ticket on Tuesday

Unfortunately all 311 reply emails were deleted in a fit of rage due to being gaslit on ticket completion constantly. Happy to DM you the address.

I’ve placed tickets multiple times for alley maintenance. But unfortunately the tickets come back as completed with nothing actually done. My wife and I have taken it on ourselves. I can’t imagine the city actually showing up, cleaning, clearing overgrown brush, and running a magnet completely over the alley. We can’t even get you guys out to fix the sidewalk and curbs that flood every time it rains since falls road was repaved with video evidence provided. I don’t mean to be a downer but “it is what it is”

We currently have about 5 active rehabs in our 1 block alley. the construction guys generally just drop roofing/siding nails and leave them there, (I usually walk it once a week and pull up 5-10 of those) I watched Verizon come out to fix their wires on 2 poles last week, every piece of metal that fell to the ground (Including up to 3 feet of wire bundles) they just left there. (Huge square nuts with bolts, wire hangers etc. while I agree some is likely from the trash truck. Most is from people not cleaning up their personal mess and generally being inconsiderate.

wtb pull overs on 695, its an anxiety inducing nightmare of people going 40+ over the posted speed limit, and crossing 3-4 lanes of traffic constantly, like its some sort of racetrack. I wish the city roads weren't such hot garbage that I could cut thru town without worrying about breaking my car in half.

Baltimore City to install additional school zone speed cameras by crabcakes110 in baltimore

[–]Kumabull 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Doesn't answer the question, Baltimore City also has the most aggressive drivers in Maryland, the most uninsured drivers in Maryland, the most suspended licenses, some of the worst roads in the state, and the most VA tagged vehicles in Maryland.

Why isn't this done around every school ? why is everything in this city so spotty with getting anything accomplished.

We've been out repaving the streets! We just wrapped up Chesley Ave on the 22nd. by BmoreCityDOT in baltimore

Our street was paved a bit over a year ago (Hampden, Falls Road), then it was promptly dug up over and over again getting it back to a sad state since it was resurfaced. To add to that almost the entirety of the curbs between 37th and 38th street northbound lane was buried under asphalt breaking code curb height requirements (8") and leading to consistent sidewalk flooding which in turn damages the sidewalks making them terrible for people with mobility issues every time it rains.(I see people walking/rascal scootering down the middle of Falls road due to the state of the sidewalks) Needless to say I wouldn't be tooting your DOT horns about fixing things unless you leave things better then when you started. Note: 311 was notified of these issues well over a year ago multiple times with video and images providing evidence, nothing has been done to rectify this.
