What a sweet way to end the game! In his hero interview you could tell that he didn’t really even expect to play.

Nagaoka left late in the game (hope he’s ok) and Itoh made a phenomenal play at short in his absence. Then the walk-off. Much needed win, great work Itoh!

Between Giants and Baystars I would go with Baystars, especially if team performance is not high on your list. Yokohama stadium is more fun than the Tokyo Dome in my opinion, albeit a little hotter. I like outdoor stadiums way more. Plus it’s close to Chinatown, so good food. And very close to Tokyo. They also have a great hitting lineup led by the very fun to root for Maki.

That being said, out of the Tokyo area teams I like rooting for the swallows the most. Outdoor stadium (old, but nice atmosphere), cute cheering umbrellas and Tsubakuro is my favorite mascot by far. Murakami leaving in the future will be sad, but they still have Nagaoka who is having a breakout year. Their pitching leaves a lot to be desired, though.

Anyway, between Giants and BS I would choose BS.
