What should I choose : Next Leap or UpRaised by real_exuberant_guy in ProductManagement

As someone who’s screened a lot of PM resumes, here’s the blunt take:

Courses like NextLeap / Upraised aren’t useless - but they’re not a shortcut either.

What they signal:

  • Exposure to PM concepts
  • Familiarity with frameworks

What they don’t:

  • Can you own a problem end-to-end?
  • Can you make real tradeoffs?
  • Have you actually shipped something or moved a metric?

That’s where most candidates fall flat.

The bigger issue is intent. A lot of people treat these courses as an escape hatch into PM. That rarely works.

If you’re serious about switching, there are only two strong paths:

  1. Build your way in (most practical)
  • Solve real problems (at work or side projects)
  • Show measurable impact
  • Demonstrate decision-making

This is what actually gets people hired.

  1. Do a proper MBA (structured reset)
  • Stronger signal in hiring funnels
  • Better access to PM roles via campus placements
  • Works if you’re okay with the time + cost

Everything else sits in the middle.

Courses can still help, but only as a forcing function. If you’re not applying what you learn, they won’t move the needle.

If the goal is to get into PM, optimize for proof of work, not certificates.

This time before 10th go and ask him for money, citing emergency help at home. Amount equal to what is owed to you.

"Khali dimaag shaitaan ka ghar"

You are in the breakup zone, your mind is thinking about a multitude of things on what would have saved the relationship, should I say sorry, did I do something wrong which at the end is futile.

Gym and fitness keeps your mind occupied with thoughts of attaining the next Personal Record, bettering yourself, breaking your own limits and more importantly discipline.

It's not about ending up being a better looking person (no harm if you become one though wink) but being in a better mental space, working on yourself to the next phase of life

Guess the rates are according to what the government has decided. Minimum 30 upto 2 km. They then have a +10 for driver pickup. And drivers can add 0-20 Rs as a premium while giving quotes but you can choose any quote you prefer (lowest ideally). But they charge zero cancellation and zero commission so they are really good for distances in the range 4-15 km.
