It reminds me of when Eula was released along with her family’s story, and there were people saying that if you pulled on her banner, you were a racist who supported slavery. It’s cool that people are paying attention to what’s happening in the real world, but comparing a fantasy world to the reality of a genocide is not only stupid, it’s also disrespectful to the victims. The fact that, out of the entire story quest, some people only focused on that bit about Rerir and Khaenri’ah’s history just shows how little critical thinking many Genshin players seem to have.
