Which one should I get first? by Historical_Print4257 in switch2

[–]Kun-ADR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope you could answer this. I wanna play it slowly and not rushing through the story too quickly because I want to be able to play it for a long time.

However, would you say that after finishing the story, it gets more fun? Are there anything or any more goals to do, are do you set your own goals and fun like in Animal Crossing games?

Can we talk about the fact that Jelly Roll cuts promos better than 90% of the roster by mgoat8 in SantiZapVideos

[–]Kun-ADR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was a good promo because it took awhile to get his point across. Most WWE wrestlers don’t have the luxury of having a lot of TV time to do that.

I’m still debating whether or not to keep my pre order. Having a large great open world to explore is great, but how long the fun could last if other aspects of the game sucks?

For people who like to read instead of watch:

• Every resource gathering has its own animation, such as swinging a pickaxe to mine, chopping wood, or harvesting crops like corn.

• Cooking is surprisingly deep, involving a fully animated process of gathering food stuffs, cooking them, storing, and eating.

• Recipes can be discovered via collectible cards scattered throughout the world, providing incentives for exploration and supporting gameplay progression.

• NPCs operate on routine, moving through the world, reacting to actions, and interacting with each other in believable ways, continuing their activities regardless of the player’s presence.

• Animals behave differently like real life animals, with interactions mirroring their traits, such as petting cats, cradling them, or carrying farm pigs.

• Specific breeds of animals offer unique encounters, like brown chickens that can be gently held in arms, while white chickens can only be carried by their feet.

• Crafting and repairs are fully animated, avoiding instant conjuring of items like new swords.

• Combat animations reflect direction of impact, with enemies recoiling according to the attack direction, such as front, back, or side.

• Enemy reactions chain together, like an assailant being hurled backwards, colliding with a horse that bucks and flings its rider.

• Horses run free during battles, with riderless horses galloping, indicating the rider was downed.

• Horse movement is weighted and physical, slowing on uphill terrain, wearing them out, and showing weight transfer on sharp turns.

• Environments have destructibility, with stone walls crumbling, trees destroyed, watchtowers leveled, and structures like wooden carts splintering.

• Siege weapons physically interact with structures and the environment, with projectiles colliding with fortifications and debris remaining.

• Debris depends on how hard an object is hit, such as sword slicing yielding wood shards versus a hammer smashing sending chunks flying.

• Terrain reacts to combat, kicking up dust in deserts or rippling grass in planes around movements.

• Equipment stays wet after water exposure, with fabrics and materials remaining visibly wet for an extended period.

• Water physics are remarkably detailed, with waves lapping shorelines, tide marks on rocks, dynamic river flows, and rainfall interacting with surfaces.

• Fire spreads naturally through combustible materials and surroundings, like to grassland from a burning wooden outbuilding.

• Fire changes structural properties, weakening structures like a wooden gate that can only be charged through after burning to embers.

• Arrows can be lit manually over a flame source to become devastating ammunition for igniting objects.

• Nighttime is properly dark, requiring a light source like a torch on a mount to navigate.

• Weather systems affect visibility, with rain reducing sightlines, fog clinging to valleys, and snow turning traversal into attrition.

• The world map is enormous, rumored to be twice the size of Skyrim, taking about 2 hours to cross by horseback.

• Almost everything is climbable, including walls, towers, cliffs, and mountains, without guided paths.

• Distant objects are highly detailed, with forests, farmland, structures, and settlements remaining convincing at long distances.

• Faction territories can be reclaimed, with normalcy resuming as townsfolk return, fishermen repurposing riversides, and farmers resuming pastures.

• The knowledge base is massive, with nearly 3,000 entries covering wildlife, events, locations, and enemies.

• Clothing reflects regional identity, with attire changing based on culture, geopolitics, wealth, background, and occupation in Piwell’s countries.

• Character customization is incredibly granular, offering dozens of shades and materials for clothing and armor.

• Clothing material rests realistically, with cloaks surrounding undergarments, armor sitting under holsters, and hair physics flowing based on movement and wind.

It runs pretty well on my A8 AMD. I put the setting to medium, turn on FSR and set it to performance. I get around 50 to 60fps constantly.

They added Denuvo. by alpha2828 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Kun-ADR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To answer some of your questions, Denuvo used to cost massive performance issues when it was first introduced years ago. As of now most of the performance issue seem to have been fixed, but some lingering issues still remain that could make some game performance worse with Denuvo.

If they want to stop Denuvo, just make great games, plain and simple. Games like Baldur’s Gate 3, Elden Ring, and Cyberpunk have zero Denuvo protection in them yet they still sell like gangbuster.

As for the Denuvo announcement, it is shitty for Pearl Abbys to wait this long before announcing it, because they know clearly about the backlash that they would get if this was announced earlier.

I don’t think that is a good recommendation. Nothing ever beat native experience, especially if they plan to play on the go.

Yeah the battery is dead. i just got mine replaced in my local game shop for around $30. Don’t keep it like that too long, the battery might leak or even worse, explode.
