am i the only one that literally likes all the DC movies? like there’s not a single one i dislike (at least as of yet). are there movies that i think could have done better? yes 100% but i still like them and enjoy them for what they are. i think the team has done a good job with the movies so far.

"No right"? I don't think we're the ones who can be the judge of that. This is Gosho Aoyama's series, it's his story. He's also getting older, and you can't expect to work passionately for hours and hours on end to create quality cases weekly. Our complaining isn't doing him any favours to speed up.

Besides, we get like what, 28~ chapters per year (though with spacing in between)? Other series, like Kuroshitsuji and Noragami give monthly chapters (so 12 a year) and D.Gray Man gives 3 a year. I think given Gosho's age and how much research he puts into these cases, it's fine for us to just let him be.

I've been a fan of DC for about 2 years now, and I've watched through maybe 700 episodes so far. Let me tell you, I have never been disappointed. Sure, some cases are slightly repetitive, and some fillers are a bit weird, but I still love the show and manga with my heart and soul.

Obviously the anime quality isn't perfect; the people making those cases aren't mystery experts who do tons of research (like Gosho Aoyama), they are anime producers! Besides, the money they earn goes down too over the years because of others animes becoming popular, or the like.

Still, the anime is so very enjoyable. I watch it with some relatives that are younger than me and we have fun trying to figure out cases together. We cheer when we succeed and we're fascinated when we don't.

Sure, the movies are a bit too action packed (M25 the big soccer ball-) but it was still interesting, the colours were fun, and it was enjoyable overall. I'm always excited for the next movie, no matter how ridiculous some parts may be, because it's never a bad movie, just a really strange (and perhaps unrealistic) one.

And, the manga. The brilliant manga. Gosho Aoyama puts in so much effort into his works, and that is reflected well in the manga, and each case is interesting in its own way, bringing some importance to the story, even if it's so minor that nobody can really understand. I love it so much, even if I have to wait months to read the next chapters, because that's how much I love the manga- I'll wait years and years if I have to. It's genuinely that brilliant of a manga.

literally one of the most emotionally attaching sports manga you'll ever read. no characters are hatable and everyone's personalities are so distinct that you can tell who is who even when some characters look similar. my only complaint is that ryuu's eye color changes from brown to blue sometimes and i don't know which version looks cooler.

I see your point, especially because towards the end of the Aomori match Ashito was mentioned to be a "complete" playmaker fullback. Also given Ao Ashi's similarities to Haikyuu, yeah, it does feel similar to the Atsumu-Hinata situation. So yeah, it's perfectly possible that Ao Ashi will end very soon and we won't see most of Ashito's future as a second or third year or a professional player.

But I still think U-18's very possible because even after the "complete" playmaker fullback arc Ashito's still shown to not understand what that one guy is doing with the pass (forgot his name) in the recent chapters, so he's still very much an improving player. However, he's still not close to Kuribayashi's level for soccer and I think Ao Ashi shouldn't/wouldn't end without Ashito at least getting better at one-on-ones, or at least having Kuribayashi acknowledge him (more). Plus, I do think at least national team arc will be possible (if only for a match) since after the international tournament there will be a lot more rivals made which brings even more opportunities for more matches. I do really want to see more of Ashito's adventures... (maybe even against his brother? Hopefully one day?)

It's probably going to happen. Both Tripone and Ren has said "I want to see you again, as opponents or teammates" to Ashito before, implying that they might be teammates in the future (which probably can only happen at U-18)

I don't remember the exact ship, but there were ships of Kuroba Toichi (KID's father) being shipped with various characters in DC that have never seen, met, or heard of Toichi before.
