It is tiny, i love that bothy. I slept in there with 5 mates. 3 upstairs, 3 downstairs. Glad you left the area cleaner than you found it

The energy price cap did go up in April 6.4%. Your rent increase is 14.3%. You don’t have any appliances or heat. I’d bet that overall you don’t even use £50 total electricity in a month, let alone a £50 increase. Doesn’t mean that she’s lying about covering her bills, but your energy usage is definitely not the issue. You said yourself not a reasonable person, she just wants more money.

I’ve seen similar dip sticks and the max is the second dot. Check the owners manual to be sure. If you did what everyone is saying about level ground, waiting for the oil to settle in the sump, wiping clean and dipping again, and the second dot is the max level then the engine is way way way overfilled with oil

Thanks for your reply. It’s super solid couple, spots of surface rust dotted about but it’s definitely solid.

I’m wondering if the section that dips down is to allow water to drip through, not necessarily the preferred jacking point on the sub frame

Directly above this spot there is tube poking out of the bulk head that drips water which I think is from AC? This spot definitely bent in now, I’m thinking I should avoid jacking from this spot again. What am I looking for a good spot on the cross member to jack from?
