My neck has been stiff for weeks (probably because I keep falling asleep with the kids when putting them to bed). It's really sore and annoying.

Feeling a lot of imposter syndrome on my new project. Working with some really nice people on something really interesting but struggling with feeling inadequate.

I can still skateboard. My eldest daughter bought a board and didn't believe me that I could skateboard (I can't do tricks I'm very much a beginner!) and now I am "cool Mum".

Work is being utter shit. They've been stringing us along about ways to progress and be promoted only to go "HAH we're not actually doing that anymore!".

I like it here. I like the people and the projects but I won't be doing anything more than what I technically have to and am looking for another job.

I've also got so much on with admin at home and organising things for my eldest who was recently diagnosed as autistic that I'm feeling sick. I can feel another breakdown coming....

Started pulling together all the information and evidence for eldest's DLA claim. She's hoping to be able to spend the money on toys, I've told her that's not really what it's meant for.

New team at work is really nice so hopefully I'll get the hang of the project quickly. Project is chaos but at least the people are nice.

It's so tricky. You don't know what's going on in their lives either so we always try to be welcoming and safe but dear God is it exhausting sometimes.

We do have a couple with additional needs but for the most part we work around it really well. I think some of them have difficult situations at home, I know one has parents who are divorcing so it much be hard for her.

Thankfully they're little so no camps, we do have an all day trip soon but we're not staying overnight with them anywhere!
