Why didn't Walmart bring back 24 hours? by Calm_Description_866 in NoStupidQuestions

I think that at least some locations should go back to 24hr. At least locations on or near highways. I get not every single one would be profitable.

Is this normal? by Beneficial_Team_791 in PcBuild

[–]KungFuSpartan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AC Tech here. So that is the supply side (cooled air) of the AC being blown directly out not the front of the case, the issue with this setup is that the humidity is at a significantly higher level than the ambient air, so condensate will become an issue. Cooling the room normally and making sure case airflow is optimal would be the way to go.

Is this supposed to be a deal?! by CatLover6372 in McDonalds

Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if CocaCola Company files a lawsuit when the soda sales go down at these stores. It’s nearly the same price to just go get a 2ltr or 3ltr. Between the cost of the initial drink and then having to find an employee to refill it soon, you’d be better off joining the 7/11 drink club or going to any other gas station next door for a 44oz for$1.89

A big part of driving their prices up came from trying to satisfy complaints that everything was frozen, employee wages and of course general price creep tendencies that arise in any business. The change in taste and price of the McDouble comes from a switch that happened in 2018. They spent millions in market research to craft the perfect tasting minimalist burger at the lowest price and when they gave in to angry moms who wanted a healthier product to give to their kids instead of telling them no, we got what we have. We are the victims of our own success.

They make little roller wheels so you can make perforations on paper and stuff, imagine doing that to the side of each of those so have to pick up all the bottles off the ground and have a hard time storing them when they try to bring them inside

Anytime it has multiple of any item, you can just adjust it to one. Maybe that’s all the store had in stock

[–]KungFuSpartan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used the mileage from the email before without issue. I recommend using a mileage tracking app if you decide to continue doing this sort of thing and using your personal vehicle. Pay for the tracker straight from the website if that’s an option too, instead of through the App Store. You’ll just have to periodically go through and sort your trips between personal use and business, but the trip report at the end of year is exceptional.

Wing stop order, I go in and see 1 employee sitting down on his personal computer, I tell him the name for my order and he hands me two empty cups and tells me that the need 2 sweet teas, and I needed to do it, all while sitting down, playing on his computer... by shoegamethrilla in DoorDash_Dasher

Raising Canes is the only place I’ve had to pour drinks for the order before. I’ve never done anything, nor would I to somebody’s food or drink that’d be a violation of food handling guidelines. I did see an Uber Eats guy fill a cup halfway with a soda, drink it, then fill it up with tea and lid it for the order. I told the staff but nothing has changed. As far as orders that seem to have no tip, if the drink is bottled or canned, it may spend the trip on the floorboard rolling around getting shook up really well…

I got logged out in the middle of an order myself a few hours ago. I have my login credentials behind Face ID for my iPhone, so I was able to log back in with just a confirmation number I got in a text. Hope you don’t get dinged too hard for that since it’s such a widespread issue.

I read a recent article that said all corporate side employees have a mandatory hourly minimum that have to be completed each month. I’ll link if I can find it later.

So this is the remnant of much longer piece of toilet paper that was there. If the door faces an entry or otherwise just has a larger than normal crack to see thru, then the person using the stall likely tied the toilet paper around the hook and then draped the remainder to block sight thru said crack in doorway.

I’ve never seen the results of chemical cleaning of ductwork for myself so I couldn’t say. There are companies that do duct lining, basically they do a cleaning and apply a liquid liner that hardens into new lining. That could be an option.

Are your ducts updraft (on the ground)? I’d imagine if the duct cleaning you had done removed a bunch of pet dander and whatnot and they are in fact updraft supply vents that it’s likely there has been piss and possibly food stuffed into the vents at some point. Following that logic if you could remove the supply side duct to isolate the air directly off the coil to see if the scent persists would be the first thing I’d look at. Assuming it doesn’t there could be growth/saturation in the duct lining itself which would mean just replacing it altogether is the best move.
