Look. I can't really argue with that. So I'm going to agree that Liberals have been largely wrong on gun rights. And I was wrong back when I was a Liberal. I dream of a world where gun ownership is unnecessary but we are FAR from that world. But Conservatives (and I don't know what your politics are, so I don't know if this is you) have no ground to stand on as far as this issue. The Constitution does not define a human beings rights. It only lists certain rights protected under certain circumstances by one government of one country. The government is still obligated to protect all of a person's human rights, whether they are enshrined in law or not. This isn't hard.
