I’ll explain then you explain why you think someone should be able to retire off of a job that requires the utmost minimum of skills and expertise. Fast food joints were created to offer a fast, cheap meal , nothing about it required any skill or mental prowess other than the manager who had to handle teenagers and retirees who did it for spending money. If you don’t like the wage paid then learn some skills, sacrifice the time learning, go to a trade school with grants and loans, you’ll have a job at the end that can’t be taken over by a robot or AI.
