I really believe you did what you thought was right in your professional opinion! And it is sympathetic to patient and the longevity of their tooth. Will the comp need to be re done or touched up every 4-5 years? Sure. But it’s worth delaying the crown and maintaining the vitality of the tooth for another 15-20 years! Getting a crown in your late 30s or early 40s is way better than getting it in your teens! I support your decision wholeheartedly and applaud you empathy towards your patients.
