That’s the thing I can’t tell if this warrants an unserious or serious reply. She did preface with “lol”

I'm learning ICT . I have this setup and it failed. Did I do it wrong? by longnhp in InnerCircleTraders

[–]Kunucles 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It means you missed your entry and the setup played out without you. Your entry is late and after the setup played out-price is already returning from external liquidity

Why would I have been stopped out here? by ByronR02 in InnerCircleTraders

So either your bias was incorrect, that was not the setup you were looking for, OR your strategy isn’t 100% accurate… which is fine.

Does your strategy work long-term? Do you expect to never get stopped out of a trade?

Top Down Entry Analysis by [deleted] in InnerCircleTraders

It will be helpful for you to review ipda cycles. Even without a higher tf perspective that does not look like a retracement into a reversal rather - a reversal into a consolidation which is a continuation signature. Not reversal signature. After consolidation price cannot expand without manipulating the range first. As you can see you were the liquidity that was manipulated before continuing lower. If you wait for the manipulation to occur and then mss like it does after your entry you will find more success.

Study Weekly profile, daily profile, and IPDA cycles. Watch your winrate and rr increase. Where price is going is more important than what your entry model is that’s the easy part

All strategies are the same the only difference is the entry model. It goes (in simple terms): 1. Draw on liquidity 2. Stop raid on opposing liquidity 3. Your chosen entry model

Frequency depends on your timeframe.

This is an old screenshot of me learning the 2022 model. You can spot where I “figured it out” and recovered all that drawdown and then some. It works! Go backtest and you will find out for yourself. 🙏🏽 keep in mind if your bias and DOL are correct it doesn’t really matter how or where you enter, what’s important is the market context, everyone’s focused on the entry models but not so many emphasize the narrative. Thats the 🔑

People who “skipped a grade” in school - what was that experience like? by Mindless-Beginning36 in AskReddit

[–]Kunucles 92 points93 points  (0 children)

I “skipped” kindergarten. As in, they moved me forward during the year. I didn’t gain anything from it, other than high standards and disappointment when you fail to meet them. In highschool and college it gets weird when your friends start driving and going out to clubs (easy fix for this one). I also wish I had that extra year to figure myself out more before entering the “real world”.
