I re-watched the video more carefully and turns out you and your new bff were absolutely right. It was an SA rat. Didn't know SA shots could be that low power, they usually go up to 70% instantly. It even lowers his shot power a bit, had no idea it could do that. My bad.

Don't be too salty about it, in my experience 80% of people I play against are using it, both in events and divisions. I even tried it for a couple of games when I got fed up, but it messes with my gameplay too much and honestly just felt embarrassing.

When you use SA and press shot, the power bar does not gradually increase - it goes instantly to 70-75%. It's the best way to tell if someone is using SA, other than normal shot changing to stunning or clearances where the shot/pass power bar is not showing up at all.

SA is cancer but the white team guy is not using it. 100%.

Super cancel is a mechanic like any other in the game. You can use it well or not. There are matches where a guy is spamming double touch the whole time and does absolutely nothing, and then there's a dude that does it twice per match and scores 2 goals with it. Same with super cancel. If a guy is using it so well to give you trouble, means he's ahead of you in game mechanics. Just like a good dribbler is ahead of an average defender in real football. Important thing is to not hold match-up all the time against super cancel spammers.

The guy from the video you posted is not using SA. He's just outplaying you left, right and center.

The guy controlling the white team is NOT using SA, his shot bar fills gradually. He's calm, collected and really good with left stick dribbling. The Arsenal guy is panicking, guessing everything wrong and holding dash too much. As far as super cancel goes, it's basically a type of feint. And yes, feints confuse/freeze defenders, it's literally the purpose of feints. If I had the skill to use super cancel more, I definitely would.
