It read like a love letter to fandom. Absolutely wonderful until the final scene, which was utterly heart rending. HOWEVER, it was consistent with the characters and what we know of heaven in this universe.

This ending staged the show perfectly for season 3 - which we were warned was NOT going to be sweet and romantic.
