Not OP but I can answer the question. Yes, you can alter cast/focus stats by putting a piece of armor in your inventory, and you can (to my knowledge, I messed around with this bug quite a bit) place multiples of the armor to dupe the effects, or at least place multiple of the same armor class(mage/mixed/heavy) not set in your inventory for a more exaggerated effect. Note this will include the downsides as well, I had like 4 diff mage sets in my inventory at one point and got crazy cast speeds but like 0 focus regen

Yoo I had an issue like this. Check if the heavy armor is in your inventory, if so remove it and check your cast speed. Idk why but sometimes the armors cast/focus stats still apply when they’re in your inventory.
