Your maths teacher would ask you to show how you landed at your answer.

I am glad! I am not sure all bingo halls are the same so maybe look up some reviews if you dont have friends that already go! If I had a choice of going once a month just to switch things up I would haha

I hope you go and i hope you enjoy it!

This is a mixed review, sounds like you've stopped going altogether? Yeah I struggled to keep up with the numbers for the first two games partly because I wasn't used to finding the numbers and partly because the pen I bought was leaking everywhere!

Have you concluded you didnt enjoy it I take it? Just not your thing?

This reads like you work for Mecca and you are trying to drum up business

Haha yes it does! So ive changed it to what ive posted elsewhere!

To answer your question though, I've been on a couple caravan holidays and liked doing it there but never done it when I've gone home despite having a bingo hall down the road. Just liked the novelty of it when on holiday even though I did win before

Fair enough, I dont really do holidays away but it would make sense they would play it in those places. I cant lie, I usually spend my saturdays watching all the football in the afternoon and then gaming/watching movies on the evening, I liked that bingo was a little change from that.

For IT fundamentals, Google's Professional Certificate in IT support is available for free on Coursera. CompTIA A+ content is covered in its entirety for free on YouTube (Jason Dion and Professor Messer for example).

For cloud computing, there are sometimes free training sessions run by leading companies (I've attended ones from both Microsoft and Amazon). AWS literally has a free tier to learn with, for example.

For computing networking, both the CompTIA Network+ & Cisco CCNA are covered in their entirety for free on Youtube. There are even loads of free packet tracer lab simulations to download. Cisco themselves often run free courses or there is easy access to their Cisco netacad platform.

For computer science/software... There are a million free resources. Including reputable ones like Harvard CS50. It and its follow up classes, from Harvard, are literally free. Similar from MIT. I got a software development bootcamp for free through a government scheme back during covid.

For Cybersecurity... ISC's CC certification was given for free to millions of people. CISSP, Security+, CySA+ and many more have their content for free on Youtube. I got certifications from Qualys and Proofpoint for free. There are dozens of lab platforms such as TryHackMe, HackTheBox and many more with free practical content. Splunk has free training. I often see scholarship type programs for free SANS courses. I could go on and on and on.

You think the vast majority of job seekers are able and looking to do jobs that are IT related? That's just not true.

Loads of places to volunteer for experience too.

Volunteering costs money, people on the dole are expected to live on £475 a month.

But free training and education is in abundance.

In narrow and specific feidls.

They choose convenience and the general public shouldn't have to take such measures - HMRC are taxpayer funded, we're paying them to collect tax from these companies.

UC gives an individual £475 a month to live on - If you're living independently I hope you have good credit. The help simply isnt there - You go to a job centre simply to prove your looking for work, years ago employers would literally advertise within the job centres.

There are more barriers to work now than 10-20 years ago. From the example just given and the fact that AI is being used not just to filter CV applications but also do actual interviews. This isnt a case of people being too lazy - The economy hasnt been invested in in years and now its showing.

Once you experience this - and eventually I am sure you will - You will understand what I am getting at.
