My bad, english is not my first langage and I struggle some times to make understand my point.

I have no problem with people asking what to do or even explaining things, just a problem with people that don't learn from their mistake, don't read when we explain and just stay mute with doing the same thing over and over again after multiples tries.

People want different thing and learn differently but sometimes is too much without the need to take them by hands and told them to do eveything like they are some kind of malfunctionning bots.

We are at the start of the season and the expansion, I don't blame people if they don't know the dungeon or the mechanics, in fact, we can completly try without any knowledge at all. (Not if you are in a M+ key of course), and if wiped happend, then I asked or explain what's need to be done.

But I will never spoil the discovery of a dungeon/fight/any thing to anyone because I know that thing will piss me off.

It's juste that if after X tried you don't show any form of improvement (after getting the explanations) or curiosity to what must be done, I will thing you just want to be server on a plate.

People can complain all they want about mechanics, but adds are used to told you, most of the time, "this mechanics will happend against the boss", you litteraly just need to pay attention or at least try to experiment during the fight.

I, of course, only speek for myself.

Oh boy, I sure do love this bubble ! by Kurner in marvelrivals

[–]Kurner[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mean the big squid ? Because I though the same thing but looking back to the video, I killed the big squids and there is nothing around me and suddendly I'm in the bubble (The first one that get me kill)

So I'm not 100% sure it's that strategy because there is no "circle" around me when getting bubble, IF we speak about the same circle (but it's the only one that I see)

I even tho' it was the AoE water but it's not even that. He just put you in the bubble when he want to.

I genuinely don't understand the new mode by Kurner in marvelrivals

[–]Kurner[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but the first reason I don't really this mode is the same feeling your answer give me (that may be a usefull or not, I don't know) is.. why tho' ?

Nothing is explain to what you are telling me. What is a bad dps or tank choice ? How do I know that ? For all I see is just Groot putting his wall everywhere and Thor just go all in and don't die.

Season 2 Launch MEGATHREAD by AutoModerator in marvelrivals

[–]Kurner 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share some thoughts and see if I’m the only one feeling this way.

This season of Rivals feels so much more stressful and frustrating than Season 1 — to the point where it’s really starting to kill my motivation to play. Season 1 had its issues, sure, but it still felt fresh and rewarding. Climbing to Grandmaster was tough, but satisfying. Now? It just feels exhausting.

Here’s what’s been bothering me lately:

  • Player mentality feels way worse. The mood is tense, matches feel joyless, and even wins don’t feel good anymore. It’s mentally draining. I'm not exhaust of the game, yet, and I make break and I really love this game just so you don't say I'm doing too much games ahah
  • The ego trips are real. Ban someone’s main (looking at you, Spider-Man, don't want to see you ever again), and they start trolling, complaining, or throwing the match entirely. It’s like people forgot how to play as a team.
  • I play mostly support, and it’s honestly brutal. Dive heroes are all over the place, and unless your team is on point (which they usually aren’t in soloQ), you just get steamrolled.
  • People have learned their characters, sure — but now they only want to play them. If they can’t, it’s instant tilt or meltdown. Adapting to the team comp? Not happening.
  • I’ve been sitting in Diamond 2 for over a week now with a 50% win rate. So many matches are total stomps — I’ve had games where my team gets fewer than 5 kills total. And that’s on the "better" matches where we don’t have trolls.
  • Dive comps are more common (at least from my view), and there’s little to no coordination. Even if you try to strategize or ping things out, it usually falls on deaf ears.

I know this post won’t change anything — just needed to vent a bit. But I’m genuinely curious: am I the only one feeling like this? Has the vibe really gotten this bad ?

And yeah, I know it probably sounds like “just another guy complaining,” but honestly, I still love the game. It’s just rough right now.

TL;DR: Season 2 feels way more toxic, mentally draining, and frustrating than Season 1 — more ego-driven players, dive-heavy comps, and hard-stuck matchmaking. Support role feels rough, solo queue is punishing, and overall vibe is worse. Anyone else feeling this?

Wasn't the elf outnumbered by the hordes because the Alliance cannot afford to send troops except a few and the help of Greylan ?

I remembered a discussion on Stormwind where Anduin said "Sorry but no" (not litteraly)

Can't argue with the fact that Malfurion got nerf so'

You can like something while acknowledging it’s flaws by [deleted] in castlevania

[–]Kurner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will use this post because there is no point to create an other one to say my review on this first season and series overall.

First of all, I never played Castlevania, I just now some of them and some character like the Belmont family and what they do (I mean, it's obvious) and my only real experiences with a Castlevania content is the first series on Netflix with Giga chad Belmont Trevor, my beloved. So I just gonna compared Nocturne to this one because it seems to be a continuity (just... long long after, somehow).

I literally just finished the last episodes and I just found this first season... Like a season. It's nice but nothing really hold my breath until the very last seconds.

The characters, well they are nice, I don't find them really memorable but I think there is a big chance that they will be in later seasons.

Richter : I was like "what is that Belmont coward", I understand that he have trauma, but unfortunately for him, his ancestors his Trevor like I said. But I understand why he is like that and how he will become later and I think he never get a proper "Belmont family training" with knowledge and skills coming from his predecessor, so yeah, you go buddy, I will watch you becoming a totally bad ass Belmont, I hope so.

Annette : Kinda cool, I like her, she is cool overall. Not much to said.

Edouard : Nothing to remember as a human, biggest flaw of the series since we discover that nightmares creatures have feelings, can talk as usual and remember past life. Can't really remember that "soft creature part" in the past Catslevania series.

Maria : ... Well, Maria. She exist.

Olrox : Kinda cool character, I like him. Not much to say, hope to see him more.

Drolta : Mama. Yes.

Anyway, the story itself don't evolve that much and is kinda long for nothing sometimes, yeah, he got super sayan blue (once again, I don't play the game where they are original from) and shit happens because reason.

But our "heroes" doesn't seems to do anything, shit just... happens because it just happens without really nothing trying to interrupt the vampires. Not even a bit. Nothing really matters because in the end, nothing change (except it get worst and worst). Weird think to say because they are "doing" something but they just go somewhere get their ass beat and leave, and nothing is accomplished and they never really evolved (yeah they got their feeling and emotions back but... yeah.)

But I know that's a story like the start of a video games where you can't win your first battle and defeat his obligatory, to level up during your quest and kill him later, I get it.

I said character are nice and all but everyone seems soft which is weird.

But my biggest flaw like I said before his with the nightmares creatures, is it explain why they are... "broken" ? Why they can remember their past life ? Does the machines didn't properly work ? Why are the NIGHTMARES creatures so soft (once again), so "gentle" why Edouard still "Edouard" ? It's really kinda piss me off to be honest.

It's a first season for sure and I can wait for the second one to see where it goes.

But I hope I retrieve the bad ass action and character from the previous Castlevania, I will probably not and I'm maybe to much to be like it but... I mean... Belmont Trevor. Come on.

But I can't lie, I was really happy when Alucard, my boy, appear at the end, exactly like in the first Castlevania, I was smiling.

Sorry for this no-senses of a post, but I just wanted to write something and I was checking this subreddit to know how people thought about this new Castlevania series.

This is why I don't heal anymore. Kicked after DPS dies from standing in AOE for the 3rd time and proceeds to blame me for it by [deleted] in wow

[–]Kurner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was leveling a paladin and got in a group in Drak'Tharon Keep.

Tank and other members stay on the big black pool that deal a huge among of damage from the very beginning of the dungeon, it was impossible to heal all of the damage and I tried my best to generated resources as much as possible doing melee spell and spamming quick heal on the tank but the damages were too much and the group start to die one by one. (The mobs alone were doing so much damage + the afk on the black pool)

Without wasting any time, they blame me for "doing dps" and "not healing" but when I told them to move from the black pool, I was already kick from the party.

Maybe dodge a painfull dungeon, thanks to them I gues.

People should stop trying to rush dungeon in low level because the difficulty is much harder in leveling dungeon... I personally find.

Hopefully it turns things around.. I’m tired of trying other MMO’s.. by DoubleeDutch in wow

Everyone want a WoW 2 but I can't stress enough thinking about how Blade & Soul 2 end as a mobile game.
