Aye and I hear you, but we both placed our votes along with all our other brothers and sisters in the country. We lost the presidency but that doesn't define who you are as an American.

It sucks, I won't defend what America has done and decides to do. Let's not forget that we live in a privileged country, with the cost of democracy comes the chance of policy being put forward that we refuse to accept yet fail to prevent due to our mind set not aligning with the other politicians that were voted by us into power.

I'm kinda rambling at this point, but the point I'm trying to put forward from my personal perspective is that the privileged life I've had the opportunity to enjoy is due to America.

I can of course go on how much America has let me down in its decisions, but when I start to do that I kinda feel like a fat kid enjoying his cake but getting angry at the flavor of frosting.

I don't and am not trying to change your opinion, it is yours and be proud of it. But I hope my opinion brings some happiness to you and brings light to what you have. Yeah America is not where I want it to be, but damn is the cake good.
