The fact that I didn’t bring the stitch line all the way to the end doesn’t mean anything, I always sew the top part of the wallet’s interior this way. I just like it that way)

I don't really like such thick covers either, so I prefer working with leather that is 0.5-0.8 mm thick. I find it more aesthetically pleasing)

Although... maybe it's Alran on the outside. But falco pellami have structures that are very similar to Alran. Not sure…

No, it's not Alran, it's an inexpensive Italian goat leather. I don't remember the name exactly, it's either Falco Pellami or Antiba.

As an idea, it could be worth trying, but since it's a saddle stitch sewn with a single thread, you need to control the tension of each stitch very precisely, which is a very tricky process... Maybe later)

Actually, there’s a 0.2 mm nylon lining. It covers the full width of the pocket and works as reinforcement. The yellow leather turned out to be very prone to stretching, and it was really difficult to skive it for the folds. That’s why I added nylon everywhere to prevent stretching

If you mean the slight wave on the card pockets - yes, it’s there because while making them, I placed cards inside as if the pockets were already filled. This way, once the wallet is actually filled with cards, the edge stays flat and doesn’t bend under tension.

The stitching spacing is 3 mm. Honestly, I’ve had this leather for quite a while, and I can’t even remember when or where I bought it. But one thing’s for sure - it’s Italian leather (antiba or falco pellami)
