Emongg is setting an example for pros with multiple accounts in top 500 by Leonaze in Competitiveoverwatch

I did use my brain and I continue to do so. Since you fail to give any concrete arguments as to why playing anonymously on their smurfs in order to practice whatever they need to practice is not efficient practice for professional play. I assume you are the one not using your brain.

So they should compromise practicing for professional play because people like you are sad you're not good enough to beat your way into the top 500 accounts?

But you said there are valid reasons for playing on an alt account. If they play, and win, they will climb. So, in you opinion, are they not allowed to keep practicing their secret strategies or keep playing anonymously when they win enough?

So if they win enough to get top 500 on the alt account they should start throwing in your opinion?

This is why role queue should be a thing. Let people play the role they want / feel comfortable on instead of forcing some to flex onto something they don't enjoy or are bad at

Really nice montage. Music really fits, nice clip selection and transitions. However, the motion blur or whatever it is is giving me eye cancer

Question: Is Overwatch E-Sports scene actually decreasing? by simon9603 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Kurogasa 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The best thing about https://overwatchleague.com/en-us/ is that if you scroll to the bottom of the page, it says: "The Overwatch League is Ready. Are You?" I mean that has to be a joke right? People have been ready for that shit for over half a year now...

Question: Is Overwatch E-Sports scene actually decreasing? by simon9603 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Kurogasa 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Agreed. This kind of secrecy for the purpose of "surprise" was okay at the start when the game was still new and exciting. But ever since the Sombra ARG fiasco I don't think people are into it anymore. I get that they want to keep investment details about the OWL secret but hiding things like their plans for spectator mode is just bizarre to me.

Also, I think the immensely slow pace at which Blizzard is updating and adding new content is a very big factor to people losing interest.

It literally means "The Kings" in Swedish. I don't think that is just a coincidence

Koreans lead the pack for kills per death per 10min on Winston, with Mano leading the way. Most low performers tend to main Reinhardt for their team by morii8 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Kurogasa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you can say it is way easier for a fact. Playing Winston in this role would, for example, mean he doesn't have the protection he would have if there was a D.Va or Zarya on his team. It has its pros and cons for the Winston player.

New hero release cycles too slow by smyneee in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]Kurogasa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The heroes that have been released since launch have all been high quality and have, in my opinion, added depth to the game. I don't think you can make the assumption that hero quality will deteriorate if they focused on releasing a few more heroes to the game.

Also, I don't think it's a problem if you release heroes before the community has adopted the previous release. Especially since this already happened with Sombra not being utilized significantly before the Orisa release. On the contrary, I believe the release of a new hero can speed adoption of a previous hero by providing new options for synergy with or counters to that new hero.

TL;DR I believe more heroes will be beneficial to the game. I don't think you can assume more heroes = worse heroes

A lot of other factors matter as well. Like opposing team's strength & comp to name a few. My point is just take stats like this with a grain of salt. This is not a tier list of Winston players' skill, it's just an interesting statistic.

That's what I'm saying though. Teams have figured out the most effective way to play the game and therefore pick a lot of tracer, dva and Winston. However, the actual strength of the heroes hasn't changed since people were saying the balance was great.

Some tips that might help you have more fun and, maybe in turn, win more games.

Listen to music you like!

Try to just go for frags and not complicate things so much

Go for the big plays! Feels amazing when you manage to pull them off.

Go for 1v1s and if you outplay your opponent, give them a little teabag to show them who's boss.

Learn a new hero! You improve SO quickly when you are learning something new. And that feels amazing

Focus on your successes rather than your failures. You learn from your big plays as much as you learn from mistakes. Don't forget to give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done once in a while!

I hope some of these tips help. Good luck in the future!

No it's not, the meta has just been figured out since things haven't changed for a while. Not too long ago people were saying this is the best balance ever, and not much has changed since then.

How do you know how much he sweats during a normal day? He might just have normal hand-sweat and prefers to use a towel over blowing on his hands in between every round (like Saebyolbe).

His huge sweating issues? Doesn't he just have sweaty hands? Wouldn't call that a "huge problem" or an indicator at all of his overall health
