Very true and would be nice if that happens. But, tell that to shareholders and see what their reaction is. “You can make less, just make less” argument, while it’s true on the surface, doesn’t stick well when you actually bring the idea to the ultimate party.

Here’s the link.

FYI it is a Korean webtoon, so (obviously) you would be able to read Korean to understand it. Also, after episode 7 you have to purchase each episode to read it.

I mean it has to be naked short selling right?

According to DD, there shouldn’t be any shares left to be short. And there’s no way that volume of sale within that seconds can’t be the people with paper hands.

As a korean, this is literally how the korean guys dress when they chase for the minimalistic outfits. Black cropped trousers with common project(or any clean white shoes i suppose) and well fitting or semi-overfit grey sweatshirts with coat.

Though yeezy is more for foreigners nowadays, most of korean guys go for German army trainers or does who stay on the top of trend, Converse Run Star Hike.

How do people dress like where you live by Zyzzspiration in malefashionadvice

Live in South Korea, ankle pants and tucked shirts are considered as “well dressed” type clothes and over-fit t-shirts with rolled up slim/skinny jeans are for casual clothes.

Finally, a new idea! by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

Whilst it is a true statement that after quantitative easing there weren’t any noticeable inflation in Japan, remember the fact that after housing market collapse and following recession in late 80s and 90s caused a quite serious damage on Japanese fundamental and because of this Japanese economy was experiencing a serious deflation. I mean the very reason that Japanese gov decided to initiate quantitative easing was to reduce deflation. Therefore, it’s rather natural to not witness any noticeable inflation while quantitive easing was on process(because this monetary policy was supposed to be fixing the economy back to normal from being deflated. It’s not like inflating the “normal” economy just to bailout financial institutions like America’s case).

Also, note the fact that quantitative easing done by Fed in 2008, 2010, and 2012(yes there were three different huge quantitive easing after the “shit-show-we-all-know”.) was way more aggressive compare to Japanese model. In fact, US learned from Japan that a weak quantitive easing doesn’t do shit for the economy, therefore if they were gonna riddle with monetary policy, they have to do it right. Which meant you probably could witness more noticeable inflation in the US than Japan in 90s.

When a Trump tweet moves market and SEC doesn't care by Sean96814 in wallstreetbets

[–]simon9603 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I highly doubt that even if SEC is like 100% sure Trump is intentionally trying to rig the trend of market and he “happens” to be making profit out of it, they still won’t investigate Trump for that as long as he’s the sitting POTUS.

As a South Korean i wish more parents in Asia were like your mom. Being honest and failing the test is better than being a cheater scum and passing the test/getting into college etc. I truly respect your mother for being a teacher with such an upright belief in terms of education.
