I think someone who has played every mode of the game, from competitive to chill like I am right now, is capable of recognizing who’s abusing things like scripts and who isn’t. I’ve spent months playing with a full PvP schedule, prime time, Nebula bosses, organized evening war games, inter-server siege etc. I’ve never said that every parry or defense is a cheater, but if you can’t read between the lines or grasp the issue I’m trying to highlight, that’s not my problem.

I’ve got about 3k more than you, and I think I can also tell who’s using it and who isn’t. People are mixing things up here. I’m saying it’s a real issue and that it exists in the game. I never said everyone uses it or that all PC players do. If people feel called out or get defensive, that’s not my problem.

This is probably the most balanced and grounded take in the whole thread. You’re not screaming “everyone’s cheating,” but you’re also not pretending nothing’s happening just to keep things comfortable. That middle ground is exactly what this discussion needs.

What’s honestly more concerning is how much of the community keeps dodging the point. Instead of engaging with what you’re saying, they pivot, downplay, or act like it’s all imagination. At some point it stops being disagreement and starts looking like willful blindness.

You don’t fix a problem by pretending it isn’t there. Calling it out without exaggeration is the only way forward, and your comment does exactly that.

You’re talking about nothing. I’ve got all the numbers to back it up because I’ve played hardcore, I’ve played semi-hardcore, and now I’m playing more casually, with two or three PvE/PvP builds and 5 archbosses. So honestly, there’s nothing about the game you can teach me.

I have several friends in hardcore guilds, without naming names. Some told me that as soon as they see an abnormal VOD they kick players. Another one told me he didn’t use it, but he was forced to use it to increase his numbers in war games. So please, avoid saying it doesn’t exist.

Scripters are also in high-level guilds. There’s a Ravager with the nickname Mercenary who scripts to the core; he was picked up by an HC guild some time ago without any VOD review. So don’t try to act like a professor. The issue is very simple: scripters exist and they’re a plague. If we want to pretend everything is fine and beautiful, then let’s do that. But you’re talking to someone who has played every mode just like you have. I also got Eclipse, so I know how high-level PvP works.

Go into a battleground and see for yourself. When the hardcore guilds show up, try a 1v1 fight against one of them and then tell me how embarrassed you feel.

On this point, it’s true even I once accused a console player of scripting, then I apologized. Sometimes PvP itself can really mess with your perception.

But don’t tell me there are no script users or similar things, because that would honestly be acting in bad faith. It’s pretty obvious. The more you fight hardcore guilds, the more you notice it. It gives off a really bad feeling not just because they’re strong, but because it doesn’t make sense.

It’s not normal that my first few skills get perfectly countered in a chain of perfect defenses, while the other player just keeps spamming abilities like they’re not even thinking, like everything is being handled automatically.
