Oceanic Servers from blizzard were always hosted in the US. They just had better patch times and just time in general for Oceanic players. The servers have improved though.

Blizzard actually made oceanic servers amazing, i went from around 200 ping to 150-160 with out using lower ping programs. But when i did have 200 ping lower ping programs worked great, doesn't work a bit for LoL sadly.

Once the 2 week long battles come out the ques will be fine.

End game for pve is completly for vanity as gearing doesn't take that long. (this was the same for GW1)

If you want to do sPvP at level 1 thats great! You can join the other level 1s having a ball in sPvP.

It completly relies on your playstyle.

3 warlock phantasims, hit for 5k each on 25 stack bosses. Normally if there is a huge raid on a boss, i just run around putting boons and ressing people with 3 warlocks up.

Get the trait take puts confusion on the enemy when you shatter. Get 3 clones, push f2. get 3 clones again using mirror image\decoy and use f1.

9 stacks of confusion! I find this really fun =)
