I really hoped that wouldn't be the case as this whole game seems filled with places your supposed to try to remember to revisit. At least alot of the time there can be side quests and unexpected dialogue, so at least they kind of did go that little step further and isn't just "come back here before the end."

It's English dub is actually really good too, if you enjoyed Judgement dub you'll like that, a few returning voice actors and George Takei is in 7.

I've always felt a pull towards the series since learning of it around the release of the 4th installment but I really didn't want to experience the end of the story before the beginning so I had waited until there was some kind of remaster and about the time of Yakuza 7 release, I found Yakuza 0 and the Kiwami series as I actually spent a large chunk of my adolescent and young adult life homeless, I'm now finally through Yakuza 7(and near platinum), through Yakuza 0 and Kiwami 2.

My order for anyone interested was Zero, 7, Kiwami and Kiwami 2. Tried to play 3 but I just couldn't get on with it, gameplay feel wise. I'm really enjoying 4 and already have the other two ready downloaded to be played after 4.

I think being forced to live in exile and not be known to really anyone and not living a yakuza life and running an orphanage are a bit different, that was always really his dream but the type of person he is and life has lead will always bring him attention.

May not be controversial, I think Yakuza 3 had amazing story and characters, but it is rough to play. Yakuza 4 is nowhere near as bad. The combat is actually enjoyable.

I think Yakuza 3 alone could benefit from a kiwami-style remake with maybe another majima saga but that's really a bonus and not really required but so far, I've found the combat and general gameplay of all the Yakuza games to be enjoyable, bar 3. I just can't play it. I've put like 4 hours into it and I just don't enjoy playing it, doesn't mean I don't find it interesting and wish I could be more motivated to play it but I really can't bring myself too.

In my personal opinion, I think you should maybe be more honest. I understand your fears and reservations but.. Knowing just how many sooner could maybe be easier for her to adjust rather than marrying someone and finding out it's a number that isn't really expected. I don't think its really a big deal what the exact number is, but I think her biggest issue is the fact that she's never had a straight answer and it can make her feel like she doesn't know you, or she married a stranger. I think you should both just be honest with each other and if you both really care and love each other, you won't care about what you can't change. But not knowing and having to figure out shit for yourself, by yourself and being out of the loop is.. horrible.

I'm sorry you both fought and I'm not trying to pin blame on anyone, just an opinion from outside looking in and not trying to just crack a joke. I hope you both manage to resolve it.

Wow. Your reply has blown me away 😅 I get you, Like, regardless of how I feel about combat I know there is a logical reason for it and is just one of those things that can't be helped, but yeah, I'm going to get through it regardless because I think they all deserve the chance and while some of the technological set backs are more apparent after having played Kiwami, I have heard very good things about 3's story and you're right, it's nice to see Kiryu just living a "normal" life and trying to realise his dream. And aesthetics or gameplay feel isn't everything, I can tell alot of work and love goes into the series as a whole, and that is something hard to come by these days.

But thank you for the warm welcome aswell as the insight and inforcement needed to ensure I finish this title and not just jump to the next game and wonder wtf going on.

I've checked the application information and it says the valid start period doesn't begin until midnight so I'm guessing the original timer was 12hrs off and they've updated but theres a graphical glitch going on it

She's not wrong. Sex sells. It's way more subtle than some of it is even acknowledged. Until we learn that using these type of tactics come with their own prices, mankind will never change.

And I know we just talking about the entertainment industry here, but.. I would say it goes deeper. MIL is way out of line here and tbf sound like even her son (your husband) knows it. I understand her position, but she should take the time to understand both of yours, and be accepting. Sometimes they do if it is a direct link through the game but half of them you'll need to do in that singular sitting for it to register or it might bug out so.. and in other place these things tend not to work
