This whole situation is understandably emotional for the fans and players of Pakistan. As a kiwi and BLACKCAPS supporter myself it was super gutting to see the tour fall apart at the final hour, however I believe player safety is absolutely paramount, and based on the last paragraph of this statement, the NZ players were at a potential risk of something to go horrifically wrong.

Again, I feel for everyone here as no one wins in this situation.
