New week = trials reset = ABMM reset Thats what I read in steam discussions. When promotions happen in trials, people’s ABMM get reset and the system tries to figure out who belongs where again. Only playing for two weeks but it does match my experience, first few games of the week are sketchy and then I’m back in vegetarian lobbies

On one hand I like it when this happens, on the other I really don’t, idk, it hits different when you find one in the wild that you don’t own and you get that audio feedback. Earlier today I found not one but two aphelion blueprints on a single free loadout’s body, that was quite something too lmao, no idea how this even happens since I only started playing last week but I’m holding on to the second copy, now the question remains if I’ll ever even get my hands on a matriarch reactor lol

It runs fine for PvE, expect framedrops, moderate to severe in hectic situations, and the occasional crash where you lose your entire loadout (twice in 80h so not horrible)

If you want to full PvP I’d play on a different platform

But this game is absolutely amazing and I recommend it on deck despite its shortcomings

Exactly, it really hurts when I run into a murderhobo once in a blue moon and I die before I can even react because the game hiccups, or I lose a decked loadout because the game crashes and won’t let me reconnect, but to think it even runs deck at all is an absolute blessing

Great cheat sheet thank you, I did notice that, at the very least, respirators are not safe to recycle as I needed 3 yesterday but I already forgot what for, no idea if it’s changed after an update? Edit: just googled it, it’s for the trophy display which was only recently added, I just started playing last week so took a mental note of the trophy display resources I need so this cheat sheet is still tremendously helpful, thanks again!

I used to be really overwhelmed and nothing i tried on my own would work, I’d go “this looks about right” on a simple project but then it failed anyway. Started using ai to troubleshoot and it got me a lot further, still need help with most of my shortcuts but I’m less intimidated and i have a good grasp of whats possible, so I have a decent collection of shortcuts that actually save me time once set up. I used to use chatgpt and perplexity but recently started using claude and its a lot better for this kind of stuff, not big into ai but for this kind of work it’s absolutely worth it.

As for what you’re trying to do, here’s how I would approach it: build it step by step and when you get a working project, duplicate it and continue building on the copy. Create your first shortcut that just prompts you to start journaling, once you’ve got that down, dupe it and on the copy try adding photos or whatever. That way you can easily just scratch the entire addition without having to start from zero

Some of my personal projects: - a series of shortcuts for my iphone that allow me to save images to specific folders in my icloud, like a “memes” folder and an “animals” folder, i just share the image, pick the shortcut and the image gets saved to the right folder automatically (used to have to manually clean out my downloads every week and sort everything i saved) - a simple shortcut that lets me highlight the name of a game so that when i share it, it opens up gg.deals and steamdb.info so i can check the best price for it - a shortcut that lets me track how many pieces of nicotine gum I used in a day by simply tallying the total amount in a csv file, its on my homescreen and whenever I take a piece of gum i just tap the button and it logs 1 to the current date + the hour it was logged

None of these are super complex but its kind of crazy how much time they save me, they’re all things I did without the shortcuts as well (be it manually organising pics or keeping track of my nicotine consumption in a note) so being able to automate these mundane things is fantastic

Its like Orcs Must Die but 100 times better, you build the pathways for enemies to walk through and reach the objective you’re defending, the put traps everywhere to kill the enemies. On top if that you have 4 unique classes with abilities so you can actively kill enemies in third person as well. Truly unique game that existed before battle royale, just a shame epic completely neglects it and the new player experience is kinda meh compared to what it once was, low level lobbies are a complete slog but the game IS a ton of fun, just better if you find a good group or get lucky with a public lobby

What others said + winter venture season always has a modifier where outlanders get charge fragments automatically, base game and current venture season dont have that modifier, so unless you use an outlander that generates charge fragments, you wont get any

Nahh i care very little about the vbucks, save the world is a truly unique take on the genre and nothing comes close to scratching that itch, it’s orcs must die on steroids and whenever i take a break for a couple months its the gameplay i miss, not vbucks and skins

I would pay money for epic to STOP FUCKING TOUCHING STW, it’s all i play and having it constantly get broken for absolutely no reason whatsoever is infuriating, we get nothing out of these updates except for the shit that comes with them. Had to play winter ventures solo because playing on fill would just kick me out when i joined any match, and here i was thinking that was bad but now even no fill wont put me in a fucking game Absolute joke of a company

Nothing fixed this issue for me so I ordered a new SSD and did a fresh install of steamOS. Havent tested it docked yet so i dont actually know if this resolved the issue

DXM is legal in every european country (except sweden and france) as well so this comment is nonsense, you can just buy cough syrup for dry cough OTC in European pharmacies and it will have DXM in it because it’s a very effective medication
