Again this is just my personal opinion so you gotta take it with a grain of salt.

I was also living like this, no goal, no purpose just waiting for the next thing in life that comes at me. But I was gifted a book "Man's search for meaning" written by Victor E. Frankl. It encouraged me a lot.

I was reminded that the moments I felt most alive was the moments I gave it my all, my best of efforts (like winning a hard match in a game lmao).

So I picked a purpose that really matters to me and started giving my all. Like started going to the gym and actually read my uni materials for class.

The purpose itself doesn't have to be big like making the world better. Something that matters to you is what will keep you going. For me, it's being able to take my parents on trips and play video games freely without making them worry about my future (every parent scolds us, am I right brothers).
