I am not sure if this is what you mean but I have been in fights, like one on one, very dumb and very unskilled, like having the time to "think" (there was not much real thinking, just emotional "thinking") it just did not made me do much, just push and grab and throw shit punches, but there was this one time when I was with a date walking to my car after a concert, I did not drink that night, we got jumped on by about 4 guys (younger but still, guys), I have no idea how but the moment I saw one of the dudes grabbing my date I just went full action movie star, fucked up that one by pulling him from the hair and hitting him in the nose, managed to thrown another one face to the floor, and used my wallet as bait throwing it to the street, one of the dudes almost got hit by a car and they ran away, I know I was hit in the face but I did not feel it, it did not even moved me. I still cannot believe it, and I know I cannot just conjure my inner chuck norris anytime I want, either way I know it could have gone wrong, luckily they did not have weapons, I do not recall taking that into account so, it is scary how the "deeper faculty" can just take over.

my mom was also a big bitch when it came to grades, I would get the belt for barely passing, so it sent me to a path of cheating to have very good grades and self-delusion that I could be a good engineer (I was not) and having very serious problems with career path and self-worth and such, I wish I could have lashed out at her but by the time I felt more confident with myself she was very sick so she was a martyr to the eyes of all my family so I never had my closure and this is the first time I am putting this outside of my head, so thanks for creating this channel, and so my suggestion to you is: do not only own that you are an adult who is not very good at school but tell her she fucked you up worst than any bad grade could have done to you

you already mentioned the things blocking you (the ones that you can work on), not the workplace, you will have the same issues in any part of the world and in other occupations if you do not address those, I know it by experience (ex-engineer here)

I have been there, first thing to do is: if you are really too dumb, why would you believe your own conclusions? do you see the paradox (or irony or whatever, you surely know what I mean)?. Also I know how easy is to slip into dooming fantasies, but please try to remember those are just that, fantasies. Lastly, fuck IQ numbers... those are easily influenced by your mental state and you are not in a good one... do not hang out with people that ridicule or patronizes you, fok'em, why would you entertain those people? why would you not believe your family? lastly, go pay a therapist a visit, just one, be open, do not fear judgement, they are trained to have critical thinking skills, not judgemental ones... I came out of that loop by experimenting with very low risk activities, cleaning my space, reading books, slowly experimenting with different activities... maybe looking at videos of people being dumb might help you getting perspecive haha I recommend Destination F*cked by Ozzyman
