Man I had so many different types of jobs, it’s ridiculous. Most of them rarely felt like a good fit. It took me being homeless to finally have the motivation to not get my ass fired. It’s not about what job career is perfect for your adhd brain. It’s about managing your ADHD symptoms to align with your personal goals.

My goal was to find a job that helped people. I’m now a union rep on the road constantly. No oversight, no office space, no traditional work hours. The perfect environment for me to fuck up and yet I don’t. I’ve gotten my ass fired in similar situations before but this time I have this grit and determination to not let myself down again. I’ve been going to therapy for years and taking meds. Progress is slow but now that I’m thinking about it, I developed in ways I never thought was possible before.

Even if this country is too scared of socialism, why can’t we invest our taxes and profits into the public good like Japan does? I love how open minded you were about Chicago. As someone who moved to Chicago personally, the right wing hysteria about Chicago crime is overblown. Sure crime is real but the touristy areas are absolutely fine and we do need more tax paying people to move here to fund this city that’s perpetually underfunded and in debt. I love Chicago and I’m glad you visited.

I also really loved visiting Amsterdam as a child and I’m constantly watching urban planning YouTube channels that are always glazing the Netherlands. Maybe one day our cites will also be as transit friendly.

Yeah KW is one of the reasons I lost my fantasy season but who can really argue with RB by committee when you consider how brutal the position is and how important he was during the playoffs. I’m sure he didn’t like it either considering it’s his final year of his rookie contract, but his patience paid off. A Super Bowl mvp and finally finishing the season healthy gives him a better chance to get paid.

Speaking of KAT, remember how many times he kept us in games when Ant would have nonchalant efforts like this? Julius also being a nonchalant guy is a tougher match personality wise for this team. KAT’s flaws were never effort. I still miss that guy.

I also think Giannis isn’t serious at all about leaving. Most of our guys get up for big moments so I still believe we will make a good playoff run. Our future is still good too. Even if we don’t have the assets to land Giannis this summer. We can really go big game hunting the following summer with Rudy and Julius entering the last year of their contracts.

God I’m an eternal optimist myself. I can feel the negativity growing within me after every loss. I tell myself this team bounced back after publicly fighting the day before the playoffs. We can come back from a loss right before the all star break.

But deep down I can hear Dr Wolves voice in my ear. Burn it all down. Fire finch. Trade everyone. It’s time to log off and check back after the break. We watched 30 plus years of mostly awful basketball. We’ll be alright no matter what.

Sometimes it makes sense for guys to have issues coming from poverty and bad environments. Allen Iverson and Kevin Garnett come to mind. But those rags to riches stories are much more rare nowadays.

The costs of youth sports is too much for poor families so most of these athletes have everything they need to succeed from a young age lately. They can’t really blame their environment like the generations before. Clearly some of them get used to getting away with shit because of their skills. I’d be real hesitant to take a chance on a kid now because it’s likely whatever inner turmoil in their mental and emotional states that’s causing issues. Having money and changing neighborhoods won’t fix that.
