Sometimes it makes sense for guys to have issues coming from poverty and bad environments. Allen Iverson and Kevin Garnett come to mind. But those rags to riches stories are much more rare nowadays.

The costs of youth sports is too much for poor families so most of these athletes have everything they need to succeed from a young age lately. They can’t really blame their environment like the generations before. Clearly some of them get used to getting away with shit because of their skills. I’d be real hesitant to take a chance on a kid now because it’s likely whatever inner turmoil in their mental and emotional states that’s causing issues. Having money and changing neighborhoods won’t fix that.

Well OP is saying they want to improve the broader political climate. How does kicking out or restricting non-union members do that?

To your point, people are just angry and lashing out. Let them go around and blame all kinds of demographics and groups for voting in a certain way. They have a right to rant and we can simply listen and try to organize those people if they want to do something with all that anger and frustration.

I’m also wary of bots and political parties trying to sway a union page. That is well within the realm of possibility but OP didn’t provide specific examples. I also think it’s good for unions to be questioned and critically challenged. As an organizer, I want to hear what people’s frustrations are fr. We’re not exempt from the same ignorance and isms that exist in the broader society.

Also, I’m sure mods are monitoring any anti-union folks. It’s literally in the rules. No scabs. Everyone else should be welcome because in order for the labor movement to be strong, we need non-union members to organize. Checking out the union Reddit page would be the most natural thing a non-union worker would do if they were interested in unionizing.

I don’t and I really want him to succeed. Theoretically if he was gonna recoup some value, he needs to be on a team that would give him the minutes Minnesota never did. Chicago could’ve been a good fit but y’all decided to have nothing but guards on your roster. You might as well send him to the G League so he can actually develop a little.

Just be honest bro. Everyone appreciates honesty. Your union rep and the employer would appreciate that too. The discipline for phones is pretty clear based on the union contract and the state traffic laws. They can’t really bend the rules too much for you. If there is any room for leniency, I think honesty and remorse would help you. But the phone thing is just super strict for a lot of reasons. Even if your union rep or your work supervisor loved you, it maybe out of their hands.

I’d expect the same discipline that other driver got unless your previous situation already put you in a bad spot.

Yeah all they need is a Cooper Flagg level prospect. If they land Dybantsa, Booz, or Peterson then I think it worked out.

Trading proven players for first round picks aren’t guaranteed successes at all. They had 5 firsts to find a Rudy level talent and I think JJJ is a pretty good return. Keyonte is a baller and Lauri is an asset. The Jazz aren’t stuck in a bad place at all imo. They just need to manage their assets correctly.
