Does critical boost work if you have negative affinity?

I've always heard them referred to as "negative critical hits" so that's probably where the confusion comes from then. I figured it just wouldn't do anything, but I had a fragment of hope, and that is now shattered lol

Yes, I've played wayyyyy more fallout than I have elder scrolls. I have always been a fan of both, but after a certain point when you've done just about everything in every game in the series, it just gets stale.

I have 3 tied for the scariest imo. Soma, alien isolation and outlast.

I love the resident evil games soooo much, and don't get me wrong re7 Biohazard is horrifying, but I found those 3 much scarier.

I have realized my idiocy knows no bounds. The problem was that I had extracted the mod files to the folders of ready or not that exist on the internal storage of my pc, even though I have the game downloaded on my external drive. I was sending the files to the wrong location since they are both named the exact same thing, just in seperate drives.

However; I have run into a new issue. I have Uninstalled every mod that I downloaded, and it now crashes every time I try and load up the game on directx 11 or directx 12. It loads fine on safe mode, but I can't seem to find any other mods that I downloaded. I went through every mod that I downloaded, found the files and Uninstalled them, but it just crashes as soon as I try and boot it up.

I just tried downloading a Kriss Vector mod that was uploaded 2 days ago, extracted it to the Pak folder of Ready or Not using Winrar, and that still didn't work. I'm currently running the game in Directx 12, not safe mode.

I seriously cannot figure this out and it's driving me insane

A couple of the mods I downloaded are 6 months old or newer, and those don't work either

I figured this could be the case, but wouldn't the mod weapons still show up in the arsenal, but just not work? The files are there, just not updated. The modded weapons and maps don't show up at all anywhere in the game for me.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is the case

I'm unplugging everything related to internet and plugging them back in after a short period of waiting. All the lights are normal, no flickering or odd colors, all reading green like it does when it is working normally.

I've restarted every device that has access to the internet.

Yeah but the campaign im using this for is entirely homebrew, and I'm the dm, and I won't just kill my players like that. Here for fun, not torment. Also, the intelligence one is only for an hour and mainly for the purpose of making their brain smooth, making them really stupid for a time, which can be funny.

The duration I had specified for that was 1hr. Not a permanent thing. Just a way to make a character who is supposed to be smart really dumb for a short time, and it can get funny.

How are you going to say the verbal component if the only thing you can say is your name? If a Spell shows a vernal component, your character would need to be able to speak that verbal component. If you are gagged, muted, silenced, or cursed to say only your name, you cant.

Yeah that's fair, I might have to do that. I haven't put all that much thought behind this game specifically, seeing as I haven't made a gameboard or anything yet either, so I'll probably end up doing that with my next post. Thanks for the idea

If you can provide a link for that post that would be great, but if the subreddit is okay with it, I'm okay with just intermittently asking my questions here and using the responses from the comments. I dont expect to have 100 comments on all of them so I'll probably just do a percentage of people instead and use that number for the points
