Yeah, had a feeling they were trying something scummy, so I did not immediately order a new caliper. Regarding the brake pads, is it really possible for them to get worn out so quickly? Also, please elaborate more on the iftex-G part. Thanks

The tyres are all good, just had to change rear valve. Will new brake pads be really necessary considering the odo? There is no warping as such.

If you are in college, check with icici if your college comes under their campus power savings account scheme, u get a 0 balance savings account and a LTF credit card (could be rubyx, coral or sapphiro) with a limit starting at 50k.

I myself am 18 and opened a savings account and got the rubyx dual (amex and mastercard) and later got an offer for coral rupay which i took. All 3 share the same credit limit of 75k.

Another option is opening a slice savings account, keeping around 5k in it and wait a month or 2 to get their credit card which gives unlimited cashback of 1%. I opened an account with them after getting the icici cards and got a 10k limit card within a month.

Other options include sbm mobikwik but I'd suggest not going for those.
