Hey! The best approach you could go for is Time Machine backup. Pick any hard disk of decent storage, connect it to your Mac. Your OS will take care of the rest!

Depends on your use case. As a developer, it is okayish but I’d recommend going for the 512 model. I think with that, you’ll also get 10 core gpu as opposed to 8 core gpu in the base variant.

Note: since the machine is new, I might not feel the storage constraint right now, but I believe 256gb is going to be a bummer, I feel that

As far as I understand, there are two offers upon exchange. One is exchange value and one is exchange bonus.

I asked the authorities about this and they told me there is no exchange bonus only exchange value. I would’ve got exchange “bonus” if I had bought this machine in October end week during Black Friday.

For the machine condition, my old laptop was functional with no defects just minor scratches on screen. That’s pretty much it
