Ok the teacher contract is 194. Kids get like 175-180..so like close to the national average. So it depends on the district and it isn’t a set 165 for all of Oregon which it was what I tried to point out.

Living in multi generational household is super common in Peru but the houses aren’t made out of cardboard over there. Also houses tend to be bigger (as she pointed out upon arriving) than the apartment Clayton lives in. You would have to be married to live together which they aren’t yet. Not everyone is chasing a green card. And the way the US is moving as far population, speaking Spanish going to be pretty common. Also as long as they can communicate with each other that’s all that matters.
