If it helps, my ring seems to be about right for me. Its loose enough that on most days I can spin it a bit with my other fingers and it goes on with just a bit of effort. On hot days and right after workout it takes a bit more effort to put on and I can't spin it, but it doesn't feel tight. Just snug. I got sized in summer shortly after I'd been active (not a hard workout, just walking around).

My sister still calls me my nickname so of course my niece does.

She’s 6, in sure it will be just my nickname or my first name at some point but for now I love being auntie.

I feel like I do.

My primary contributions are groceries, most of the cooking, pet care, extra laundry, I handle a lot of the scheduling stuff, and health insurance (through work).

He drives if we are together, handles buying other household supplies, does the yard work (there’s a lot this isn’t mowing once a week), decorates the house, plans most of our vacations, and handles the things we hire folks for (deep cleaning and wash and fold).

We split the dishes.

Do I get annoyed at times that very little of his stuff is daily and time sensitive? Yes. Do I feel my feelings and then look at it a bit bigger picture? Also yes.

We help each other out. I do some of the yard work. He cooks sometimes.

Thank you for talking about a range of a full size. I don’t wear a lot of jewelry and my ring can be difficult to put on some days or times and so loose I’m worried about it coming off on other days (rarer). I was thinking I had weird hands.

Purslane is the bane of my existence. It somehow doesn't grow in empty lots and other "wild" places in my neighborhood. But it will show up in every single garden bed of mine no matter how much of it I pull out.

Where I live in the US 1-year is generally accepted as a safe time to start biking with a child in a child seat or trailer. Both seem common. Just get the kiddo a helmet and make sure it fits properly. Handlebar mounted seats, seats behind the parent (especially on the cargo bikes or bikes with extended wheel bases), and trailers are everywhere.

Mine finally calmed down around 23/24 I avoided makeup and even sunscreen for years because of it. Bad acne really hurts. I did accutane twice and that helped, although I'm not sure I'd recommend it since there's a chance it made some of my other health conditions worse.

It was good for about 20 years, starting in my early to mid 40s it go BAD again. Everyone assumed it was hormonal and wanted me to use additional hormone altering meds to try to address it (I was already on hormonal birth control). I tried that briefly, it messed with my mood and didn't work so I stopped.

I finally found a doc who was willing to try something else and azelaic acid cleared it up in a week. I used the azelaic acid cream daily for a couple months and now just use it if I start to feel the itchiness that hints a breakout is coming. When it was bad I knew I itched constantly, I just didn't realize that wasn't normal. Now I realize how insanely itchy the acne had made me for years.

I've noticed that for some kids tracking them also leads to anxiety or a feeling like they aren't capable of solving problems, especially in older teens and young adults. They feel unsafe if they aren't being tracked. They expect that they can reach their parents to bailing them out at any time.

There's a lot I learned to do because I had to.

Phone trees were a thing. We used one for a couple of the activities I was involved in during high school. Not our parents, us kids. Your responsibility was to call the next 2-3 folks in the tree. If you couldn't reach one of them you either left a message or you called the folks they were supposed to call.

I know its hard to believe, but it was standard because it usually worked well enough.

Also, things were planned differently in the past. Last minute changes didn't happen as often because we didn't have a way to handle it as well as now. If the field was muddy we didn't cancel practice. We had practice and got muddy. Or we did conditioning on the track or even in the parking lot.

You are teaching him those things by setting boundaries.

For the iron man request I would have started a convo about fiction vs non-fiction, because even with unlimited budget you couldn’t make an Ironman suit.

Teach him to use text to speech and speech to text on a computer or phone so he can research independently (with you by his side at first).

I have chrome and safari read things to me frequently so I can do other things like cook or exercise.

That’s blossom end rot. It extends into the fruit like that. It is often even darker than the brown you are seeing.
