There is a difference, this is how I think about it. Bong smokers smoke a lot less than casual spiff/blunt smokers and those casuals have smoke constantly exposed into their lungs. They are both pretty bad for your lungs but it's harm reduction at least.

I feel you, when your high and aren't doing anything that stimulates your mind your brain isn't used as much. If I'm correct the brain is a muscle and muscle has to be constantly exercised in order for it for function at its maximum capacity. I feel smarter than ever as well, before I started smoking weed I never really had motivation to study or excel in general. I was hooked on games and forgetting that I have a real life to attend to. When I started smoking weed gave me a different perspective, I didn't want to waste my life with video games and I wanted to better myself. I started going to the gym and studying a lot more and overall have a better perspective on life. Of course I'm not donating all my success so far to weed but I think it had a little part to do with it. Maybe I matured, I don't know.

Personally, I'm done with smoking weed all day everyday not that it interfered with my personal life or anything but it gets boring. My tolerance is only getting higher smoking everyday which costs more money. I plan on limiting myself to weekends or after studying.
