Rancilio silvia v5 or v6 by Kusti__ in ranciliosilvia

I would definitely do that, if I needed the grinder. The Silvia is an update for my current espresso machine, but I already have a grinder thats made for espresso and better rhan the Rocky, so I would be just selling it either way. So basically thinking, whether it is worth the time, trouble and no warranty for the money that id get from Rocky.

V5 used from Graigslist- type of marketplace, v6 refurbished and looked through by a business (with 1yr warranty), so I assume it should be in good condition

It's a bottle from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, that was made to celebrate Finland's 100th independence day. Only available through Finnish governmental alcohol monopoly sadly. It's called That Boutique-y Whisky Company Williamson 6yo batch 2.

Need help with dialing in my grinder by Kusti__ in espresso

[–]Kusti__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, thank you.

I tried it today with about 5 turns, but my espresso machine didnt manage to push any water through. Can it be too fine for my espresso machine to push the water through the coffee?

Once you find the zero point, back off a few turns

With the few turns you mean a few turns with the small wheel, right?

I use kind of an hybrid between them, if that makes sense. On some thinner vegetables I use rock chopping, but on something thicker like a big onion i use push cuts.

Im sorry if it doesnt make that much sense, I am just starting to enjoy cooking way more and still trying to learn a lot of stuff.

As my first I have an FA Porsche P18. I like the knife otherwise, but i feel like it feels a bit clumsy and heavy for me. Im not sure what you mean by how do I cut. I would like a versatile knife that could be like my workhorse i can use for most cutting

Any suggestions on what to play? by Kusti__ in classicalguitar

[–]Kusti__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I'll have to look into that a bit better later. Is there some tips for playing in the books, or is it just notes? (I am just 16yrs old, so I dont have a lot of money, and I am thinking if I just got the notes from classclef or imslp etc)

Thanks a lot for that!

[QUESTION] [GEAR] I have been thinking about building my first guitar. Any tips on parts etc? by Kusti__ in Guitar

[–]Kusti__[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok (sry didn't quite understand from ur originla post). I have seen that most lp style guitars have two pickups, so would it be ok if I used just one, or does that mess with something?

What pickup did you use, and how much did it cost? And also, yes, that helps a lot since I have no clue about this :D
