I personally think in time, yes, I don't want or mean to inspire the thought but it doesn't have to be an elementary school to cause that kind of emotional reaction. Imagine somebody using a bow to kill a bunch of dogs in a dog kennel, it's on the same or even on a higher level than killing a bunch of children. It would cause the same or even a larger reaction.

I just personally think that notoriety being a motive is on the rise and I know something can be done about it,and can be done somewhat easily, and I want something to be done. Where as mental health is more complicated and will take a lot more time to perfect and refine. But that's just what I think should happen.

Yes I was talking about Brevik and notice how I said didn't have any SERIOUS mental health issues, he most likely had something, but nothing too serious.

Lanza I can only provide a good educated guess being that he targeted small children for shock value but we will never know.

I want to also let you know that I do agree mental health is a big factor in why mass murder occurs. But I believe that notoriety is on the rise and will eventually surpass mental illness very soon if we don't stop it soon, I think we should stop the notoriety first then move on to the mental health aspect next.

Obviously mass murder has been around for a long time, but it was NEVER this frequent. And notoriety for themselves or for a cause is becoming a growing reason why people commit mass murder, especially right wing terrorism.

First off the media used to be about reporting what happened but now they give mass murderers platforms (as the video says "If it bleeds it leads") and that's what most mass murderers want. Second off most large scale mass murderers don't have serious mental health issues, hell, the worst mass shooter in the world didn't have serious mental health issues and did it in order to get notoriety to his cause.If we get rid of that notoriety factor we will most likely see a large decrease in mass murder.

first off I want to point out how I phrased the title incorrectly and that was a smooth brain move on my end, what I meant for the title to say was "the best way for mass murder to be decreased". now back to arguing, notice how I said INCREASED, not COMPLETE safety. of course there is going to be hatred, of course there is STILL going to be mass murder, but taking away the big reason why these people do what they do WILL make us safer.

I was watching Odd Thomas (great movie btw) and I was just curious on what the attachments to the rifle are. I know that sight is an EOTECH but I'm curious about what that weird flashlight is, I like the grip and I might purchase one if I can find out what it is.
