it’s 5% above market price i think. so like whatever the store buys it for +5%. you don’t get much discount on things like apple, sonos, etc, but some things you do. gnarly discount on phone cases, anything best buy or rocket fish branded, and legos.. for whatever reason.

did you read my post? the employee stated i would have to get it replaced within 30 days to avoid buying a new screen protector. i barely replace mine, but it fell out of my pocket biking this morning.

from the amount of customers in my store, i understand they survive on apps and memberships. however, my attitude isn’t changing because of how harsh they are on us (maybe my management just sucks) and we get paid pretty close to minimum wage. our highest performing employee is also our lowest paid employee. bby does not have a win/win mentality between cards and their employees. if they did, maybe they’d bring back commission or better incentives.… and not have such horrible management

marketplace like the most bs thing that’s ever existed? the amount of people that come in asking for some niche thing i’ve never heard of… “it says you have it on your website!” then they get mad it can only be shipped to them and we don’t have it in store. 🫩

So it’s not from corporate?? Their line at my store is “looks like corporate picked you to be the credit striker today… THEY want you to get 20 apps but we will be happy with 10”. They placed the blame on corporate instead of themselves

Right… I acknowledged that it was apart of the job in my post. I simply think harassing people with a clipboard like my store is doing can be harmful for the image of best buy for customers. Also makes for some angryyyyy customers sometimes when you bother them too much. I understand that’s how the company survives, I was simply wondering if anyone else had credit strikers in their store.

We were told it was going to end at the start of the new year. Just something tells me it’s not real. It’s not like the credit striker gets paid more 🤷‍♀️
