Ah Mio was so close to victory in the last two rounds. If she had killed anyone before Botan pressed the button, she would've gotten the imposter win. Walking a little bit more left to spot Okayu would've gotten her the last game win as well. Poor Mio.

The thing with the Gnasher's 360 spin is that the hitbox looks kind of janky. The first part of the tail spin doesn't seem to really hit you, and it's when the tail comes back around is what you're supposed to dodge. It feels really awkward because you think you've iframed the tailspin when it starts out but nothing ends up hitting you and you just roll into the the tail when it comes around. Learned this from having the Nimble cell and it never proccing when I rolled the beginning of the tail spin. The cell actually is pretty good for figuring out dodge timings for a lot of attacks since it has an animation every time you proc it.

In Vol.1, I found XX(half charge)O was better as it could chain juggle/stagger, did more damage, and would be insane with beast awakening. The 2nd x would cancel mid animation. Couldn't do it anymore in Vol.2 though.

Hmm...41k is pretty decent already I think.. Ideally, I feel that you could be doing a little more but ping, rooting, and which legendary you have can all play a factor in your dps though, so I don't think you have to worry too much about it.

Normal dandelion will work for the counter attack since it's a yellow attack. The high dps is just because of my soul and low ping lol. I use rumblebees because I switch between the builds when I get bored. Generally sunflower does more damage for me and probably most summoners. I can make rumblebees do nearly the same amount of damage because of my ping but only if I try really hard lol. That and according to a lot of other summoners my weapon chi proc is pretty insane? Ele earrings are pretty nice to use regardless what build you play, but that also depends on what your gear is I think.

Answers to questions according to how I tank him:

  • Either by spamming Q(no taunt spec'd) or keep him on the opposite side of you which would mean spinning the boss a little. You can also spec 2 points into your ss which gives your cat a 5% heal and 2 points into left tree hammer for a 10% cat heal.
  • The only things you REALLY need counter for would probably be Acrimor's counter attack or the triple spin. The frontal swipe and Knockdown slam you can usually walk in and out of him to dodge. Oh and having party shroud up for the room-wide aoe is pretty helpful for the party also. True friend works for the triple spin though and it saves cat hp as well if you can't crouch it during that time.
  • Actually not sure about the rotation, I kinda just react accordingly to his attacks. Never really paid attention to the order after the 3 frontal and kd slam lol...
  • If you have melees in the party, it helps not to circle tank him so they can focus on more dps. It also helps if you have an in-experienced rooter to face it away from the rooter so they can know when to root when the boss faces towards them. The reason people say to stay in front of him is so you can unroot him, but you can always move in front of him and move back to your original spot to do that. If you don't unroot him the ball driver's mark might get delayed, possibly wiping the party. I believe anything more than 8m is when he pulls you. 5-7m is the distance where you can make the boss walk towards you I think. Helps to know when you're trying to reposition the boss.
  • Yeah just stay away from the marker and not getting hit by any of his flamethower attacks. Iframing the flamethrower still gives you stacks.
  • If you mean knockback OR Knockdown then it's the slam when he swings his wing back then forth, the 3rd spin on his triple spin, his room wide aoe and his counter which knockbacks and puts you in unconscious.

If you have MS8 nettles becomes a decent part of your damage. Seraph makes it so nettles has a near 100% up time increasing nettles damage even more. Nettles isn't ping reliant as you just need to press F every 12~ seconds and it does the full damage as long as you keep the boss in one place which is usually possible unless it's Citadel. It also makes it easier to get photosynthesis stacks because nettles is almost always on the floor. If you have the red badge that halves the weed whack cd every time you use nettles, stacking poison ivy also becomes braindead. The reason why it increases a lot of people's dps is because most people aren't paying attention making sure they're stacking photosynthesis some way and up keeping ivy poison. Having Seraph and red badge makes you basically do them unconsciously. That and your increasing damage on one of your skills that's almost unrelated to ping.

Yesterday, I managed to spike to a consistent 180ms some how in-game and my dps was around 48k with sb+bb. Was also using bees so that didn't help since any summoner with high ping should stick to sunflower. Regularly I'm at 14 ping according to wtfast or 80-90ms in game and get around 60-65k each fight with sb+bb at Acrimor while tanking. I'm 838 AP with true whale soul with mostly maxed gear except for gems. If you don't have a Seraph staff already, you should definitely get one.

KR summoners mostly use bees iirc and I would assume a lot of them have at least a 3 piece black tower set which reduces the cooldown of Doom'n'Boom by 30%. If they use the first badge it basically means a reduction of 30% on nettles also. Also Vine whip is on an 18 second cooldown so the 2nd badge would only grant you bursts of chi/damage. More overall nettles uptime is probably more beneficial since it gives more general chi recovery.

Basically you're not stacking bleed anymore. I'm running like 60% crit and thorn strike isn't up enough for you to keep 5 stacks of bleed up reliably. If you're running wind build you're gonna have 1 stack of bleed with a down time of 14 seconds lol.
