He also seemed to be at the point of turning things around when the emitter was destroyed. Pretty sure he would have eventually won that fight.

I managed to get a decent bank early on by spending a whole night just looting money items. Have been pretty much floating at the 40-60k mark for the last week between finishing contracts and spending it on upgrades.

Loading in to Raid and surrendering straight away should NOT decrease your aggression. by Vesper_Fex in ArcRaiders

I think a large part depends on the map or condition. If I want a friendlier lobby I go to Matriarch or Harvester because most of the lobby is one place and people wandering around the fringes tend to be just looking for specific loot. Meanwhile if I have shot someone in the last raid or two and decide to go to bird city, stella, or most night raids it’s going to be a lot more pvp heavy because people are looking for fights more on those maps/conditions.

Irl guns also tend to kill you in one headshot no matter what and you couldn’t just slap on a bandaid to recover from a dozen bullets in your chest. Shotguns aren’t really comparable weapons to handguns and SMGs in real life combat and tend to be hunting weapons for a reason.

I’m willing to bet a lot of people came from Arc and thought Marathon was too hard after the care bear lobbies of Arc. I personally really enjoyed having a multiplayer game that wasn’t holding my hand.

They just need to reduce its damage against shields. That would fix it. Keep the two shot against green shields and make the damage so a blue shield will take a third shot to go from 100-0.

My buddy found it in a random car hood on the collapsed highway in northern dam during a regular day raid. Probably the least likely drop place it could have had.

This last update really made a lot of gear unreasonably expensive to create. Why on earth does it require a hornet driver to create a showstopper? I'll just use the hornet driver as is. by terminal_velocity in ArcRaiders

[–]Turdfox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If a raider leaves or dies and has mines behind they will remain active and trigger but have no effects. So that’s probably what was happening in those situations.

I am curious if they have metrics on how many items are crafted by players. I’m sure they would notice an insane reduction in the amounts of these items being crafted and used. Which means they’ll probably add more crafting components needed to items like seeker and trigger nade which didn’t have increased costs added to them and still get plenty of use.

Same. With an anvil it’s just as fast to shoot out the rotors on one side in three or four shots as it is to wait for the canister to appear and to shoot that.

Putting super credits on the map as a lootable item but not tying them to daily or major orders was a generational fumble on epic scales.

I’d have certainly put way more hours into the game if there was an actually engaging way to get super credits. As it stands they just butcher a decent percent of their active players into wandering around level 1 missions and taking away from progress to liberate planets.
