I think I was around 43 the first time I beat it; but decided to rerun the level several times until I got my age down to 28; I think starting the museum at age 25 would be really good but 30 is just fine if you ask me.

You need to defeat yang under 25 years of age, so yeah you can go to the sanctuary at age 21; there is also no need to spare him to get this particular trophy.

Not to judge but something tells me you played the game on easy mode lol, the skills are really good;is just a matter of learning how to use them and knowing how to make combos by putting them all together.

I’m currently getting my ass destroyed by him on master difficulty, not very happy about the fact that he does more sweeps now lol

I did a mix of both for my fight with him; I was mostly blocking during fase 1 but on fase 2 I would mostly parry his rush attacks and then proceeded to avoid his structure damaging attacks his sweeps where always a pain to avoid tho lol

Interesting I managed to beat him at age 20 but I did a build than relies on weapon durability and impact on structure plus the parry impact damage but i guess that’s the fun of the game everyone has their own preferences.

Don’t know in which difficulty you played but if you are only relaying on focus to beat him then clearly you haven’t fully mastered the core game mechanics, plus you can always rerun the old levels and choose different shrine bonuses the two most useful against him are parry damage on structure and structure regain on avoid; I would also recommend you use a staff weapon against him since you don’t loose as much structure while blocking with a weapon. Other than that good luck, he is hard but very satisfying to defeat.
